Probably one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They are constantly getting my orders wrong or not putting the correct food in the bag. Ordered a happy meal today for my daughter. Didn’t even include my chicken nuggets. Half the time I order a Coke they’re giving me a Diet Coke.I personally do not feel I need to look through my bag to make sure my order is correct every single. Disappointing too because I’ve never had an issue with a Bear family McDonald’s.

This place is absolutely awful. You are guaranteed to sit in line for at least 10 minutes whether there’s 2 cars or 20 cars. They lose your order somewhere along the way and have to ask you what you ordered by the time you get to the last window, after they ask you,it’ll be another 5 minutes. Nobody greets you, or has manners. They just stare at you and silently give you your stuff. They look like they want to off themselves. Throw the whole restaurant away.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’m not a Karen. In fact I’m a bartender who just got offa 12 hour shifts. All I wanted after my long shift was a sausage McMuffin and a hash brown. But unfortunately, at 5:40 (40 min after open time) nobody was willing to answer the drive through, Eve tho I saw an employee with blue hair- who seemed to be hiding from me. So then I waited for a few more minutes, parked- and tried to enter the dining room, all doors locked. Open time on the doors says 5 am.. I’m starving. I just wanted to eat something after a 12 hour shift. But obviously nobody can actually show up to work on time- and even when they do- they prefer to hide rather than serve. Where’s Nikki at… cause she would NEVER. The time is now 5:52 almost an hour past open and I gave up.Sincerely- a starving bartender.PS. BLUE HAIR HIRL DEFINITELY SAW ME MORE THAN ONCE AND DECIDED TO HIDE.Crazy part is I would have tipped her 20$ just to feed me, even tho my meal would have costed maybe 5$.Hungry, disappointed. Do better.

Today was the second time I was at this location and my sandwich wrapper was half way on my sandwich. Why is my sandwich half way out of the wrapper? This tells me that the person that made my sandwich didn’t care, then the person that placed my sandwich in the bag didn’t care. I get you’re in a “rush”; however, it should be quality over quantity. Do better.
BEWARE!!! Breakfast hours are FALSE. I used the mobile app and placed my order at 5:45AM. Location shows open. Even the door says open at 5AM. Went to drive thru and no response. Saw employee in the restaurant. Changed my order to pickup. Went to the main door and it's locked. 6AM and still nothing. I got charged and it went through my bank. After looking through reviews. I'm not the only one. These hours are misleading. They should be changed online and on the door.

Google and the McDonald’s app said this location is open and place an order thur the app but when I got to the location I sat in drive-through for 20 minutes with no response from anybody. Drove around the building saw people inside on their cell phone. So I called the location 3 times and a woman picked up and I ask if they was open, she responded very rudely “no!” and explain to her that the app allowed me to make my order and I was here to pick it up and I was kind of confused because the app says that this location was open at 5 AM and Google says that you was open at 5 AM but you’re telling me that you guys are not open then she confirmed my order and said that there is no food ready for me because they are not open and she has no control over the app. I asked for a refund and she said if you don’t pick up the food you automatically be refunded. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone and it’s worth the extra drive to go a few miles up the road to another location that would treat you better!

We had the pleasure to dine Saturday night during the dinner time rush. The manager Ms Hicks was absolutely FANTASTIC. The only time in all the years I have ever been asked if they gave enough sauce and several times if we needed anything else (napkins, ketchup etc..) they had several doordash/uber eat orders and the drive thru was busy but dining inside it felt more like a family restaurant experience then fast food. The kids loved it, and the personality of the staff was great. It is rare to find a manager and staff like the one on Golf Rd in Hoffman Estates. I do wish we lived closer because we would definitely eat in there again. 10 stars for service last night even with 3 young kids.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming
