What a truly disappointing and frustrating experience. I ordered Shahi Baraf (Ice Gola) and made it very clearâtwiceâthat I wanted it with Rabdi and dry fruits. The person taking the order confidently said yes, it comes with Rabdi.
When the order arrived, it was plain ice gola â no Rabdi, no dry fruits, nothing close to what was promised. I reached out immediately expecting theyâd make it right, but instead got one of the worst responses ever. Both owners casually said, âYou didnât order the Rabdi.â Seriously? After confirming twice? Thatâs not just poor service â thatâs dishonesty and a complete lack of customer respect.
Mistakes can happen, but the way they handled it was unacceptable. No apology, no ownership, no effort to fix it â just attitude and excuses.
If this is how they treat customers who trust their word, then they donât deserve that trust. The whole experience left a really bad taste â worse than the ice gola itself.
Used to be decent at one time but over the years though, the quality has gone down a lot. There used to be a time when people used to visit from far away suburbs. However the owners never paid need to competition or the changing landscape (with other better Indian eateries coming up). They also drove away customers by introducing Non-Veg menu items, rather than being Pure Veg as they were.
So, right now, they are a glorified Paan thela/shop. Probably have more foot traffic at late nights with people wanting to eat Paan, rather than their food. Unfortunate.

We ordered rose Falooda. It was like milk (room temp) poured from can and mixed with raw noodles (not cooked) and rooh afzah. Complete waste of money. No taste. Pathetic outlet

It's decent place, before their food quality was great, specially egg menu. Recently, since past 6 months it has decreased a lot. They should def improve food quality.

Iâve been coming to Mumbai CafĂ© for over 10 years now, and itâs still one of my favorite spots. The food has always been consistent, full of flavor, and reminds me of home every time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they really make you feel like part of the family.
Itâs hard to find a place that keeps up the same quality and service for so long, but Mumbai CafĂ© has never let me down. Whether Iâm grabbing a quick bite or bringing friends and family, itâs always a great experience. Truly a place thatâs stood the test of time!
