I absolutely love visiting Mumbai Cafe! Their dahi puri is awesome and full of flavor. All the sandwiches are too good, fresh, and delicious every single time. I come here often and they never disappoint me. The paans are amazing—I actually come here especially for their paans because they are the best! The atmosphere is warm, and the owners are very friendly, which makes every visit even better. Their paan is absolutely fabulous and super tasty definitely a must-try! The overall experience was wonderful, and to make it even more exciting, Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey has also visited Mumbai Cafe, which shows how popular it is! What a truly disappointing and frustrating experience. I ordered Shahi Baraf (Ice Gola) and made it very clear—twice—that I wanted it with Rabdi and dry fruits. The person taking the order confidently said yes, it comes with Rabdi.
When the order arrived, it was plain ice gola — no Rabdi, no dry fruits, nothing close to what was promised. I reached out immediately expecting they’d make it right, but instead got one of the worst responses ever. Both owners casually said, “You didn’t order the Rabdi.” Seriously? After confirming twice? That’s not just poor service — that’s dishonesty and a complete lack of customer respect.
Mistakes can happen, but the way they handled it was unacceptable. No apology, no ownership, no effort to fix it — just attitude and excuses.
If this is how they treat customers who trust their word, then they don’t deserve that trust. The whole experience left a really bad taste — worse than the ice gola itself.

I’ve been coming to Mumbai Café for over 10 years now, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. The food has always been consistent, full of flavor, and reminds me of home every time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they really make you feel like part of the family.
It’s hard to find a place that keeps up the same quality and service for so long, but Mumbai Café has never let me down. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or bringing friends and family, it’s always a great experience. Truly a place that’s stood the test of time!

Used to be decent at one time but over the years though, the quality has gone down a lot. There used to be a time when people used to visit from far away suburbs. However the owners never paid need to competition or the changing landscape (with other better Indian eateries coming up). They also drove away customers by introducing Non-Veg menu items, rather than being Pure Veg as they were.
So, right now, they are a glorified Paan thela/shop. Probably have more foot traffic at late nights with people wanting to eat Paan, rather than their food. Unfortunate.
