We pulled over on our way back to Chicago from Galena for a quick break and a little pick-me-up. There were only two cars ahead of us in the drive-thru (and an empty parking lot just outside of the store) so we thought it would be a fairly quick trip. But we waited in line to order for nearly five minutes with no movement of the line. I think I could understand if it was very busy inside (or out). But it wasn't.
We ended up getting out of line at the drive-thru for fear that it would be another five minutes or more to order and then even more time to actually get our drinks.
I don't mind waiting when it seems justifiable. But unless there was something unexpected happening behind the counter, I'm not sure that it was.

Sadly this Starbucks location does not know how to make a Cinnamon Dolce Latte. I have ordered 3x already and it does not taste like the original latte. I’ve also ordered the medicine ball tea and it taste like water, the taste of lemonade is not there. And the reason why I don’t show up in person to get my refund or another drink is because workers are always rude to do so. If baristas don’t know how to make certain drinks then another worker that does know should do them because it just ruins the taste of a Starbucks coffee, it’s usually so good and when workers don’t make it right it’s disappointing.
