Every time I visit this Starbucks location, my experience has been nothing short of perfect. I have a very unusual and difficult order that most baristas struggle to get right, but at this store they have nailed it every single time without fail. Please never change the way you make your matcha. I have three locations near me—Carpentersville, Dundee, and Algonquin—but none of them prepare matcha the right way. It’s always colorless and flavorless. I live 15 minutes away from the Hoffman location, but I always make the drive there because it’s the only one that makes matcha look and taste like matcha. I’ve made the mistake of going to the other locations when I don’t feel like driving far, but I always leave disappointed and feeling like I wasted $7. Now, I only go to the Hoffman location because they’ve never disappointed me once.

Nubia is very rude. I really wish people with bad attitude go work in a mailroom with zero customer contact. You shouldn’t choose a job that’s customer facing ever if you don’t know how to adjust your attitude.

I come to this store almost 5 times a week and order the same thing. I order a trenta black iced tea no water. Today I was given an iced drink that appeared very lightly colored and tasted like mint tea. I brought it to my table and had my spouse try her drink and she said it also tasted like mint. The barista offered to make it again but sadly it looked and tasted the same. I find it odd that a store I have been frequenting for so many years to the extent that when I pulled up in the drive through the other day and ordered they knew me by name could not realize they gave me the wrong drink twice.

People need to look like they enjoy their jobs at this location. I made a joke to one of the baristas about yawning and he looked at me like i just ruined his whole world.

Incredible service here! The guy with glasses who worked in the morning today was so patient, kind, and welcoming. I believe he was the manager. He seriously deserves a raise, his customer service skills as well as his warm charisma truly made my day! He kindly helped me with my problem because I mobile ordered from the wrong location as well as accidentally spilling my drink on the floor. The blonde barista was also very kind. The drinks she made were consistently excellent and came out quickly. Overall this location is very proficient and filled with lovely employees.
