The employees are very kind and polite.They work together as a team, helping each other when needed.The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous.We especially enjoyed the chili, which really hit the spot.We like this place and highly recommend it.
Yes...it is a burger joint. So many of the Steak n shakes have closed down, leaving us late nite foodies to be empty bag handed.Here, what really impressed me of this establishment. It was 11 pm, the guy at the window was actually happy to be working. The price was more than reasonable. We took or food back to our nearby hotel and guess what? It was still. Hot and extremely tasty.The last of the good ones. So worth the stop.

I came in to figure out what I wanted versus holding up the drive through.( I was ordering for a group of people, 1 who had never eaten Steak n Shake.)I was greeted by... computer screens.I scrolled through it for a bit but it took forever to add each meal.I am not a cashier! This is supposed to be someone's job.It's bad enough that Walmart and some other stores think people should checkout their own groceries. I rarely shop in store at Walmart anymore.McDonald's thinks people should order on kiosks too. But they have cashiers available!After a bit ( over 10 minutes) and not being done making my order and no offer to help from an employee, the 3 of us that were there, just walked out and went to another place for burgers and shakes.

Food was prepared in a timely manner and the drive they moved quickly. However service was lacking, seems like they don’t want to be there. Might try a different location next time.
