Sat at the bar on a Sunday night to watch the football game. Staci and Carolina were bartending. Carolina was very rude, walked passed my empty drink every time, I had to ask for another drink to which she replied “yeah” made a point to treat regulars around me with extra special service while ignoring me. Staci was very good, Izzy is very good and your bartender on Thursday afternoon, Ryan?, is very good too. Carolina on the other hand made it clear I wasn’t welcome because she’d never seen me before.

Great food, our server was very attentive and sweet. Had the Jack Daniels burger - a little soggy from the sauce but a worthy trade off for the flavor. Was very impressed - will be back!

Disappointed...Very disappointed.
There is another review written here almost identical to what I experienced. Ordered a hamburger medium well...it was bloody and amazingly greasy. It saturated the bun. I tried to make the best of it but I just couldn't eat the thing. I gave up and told the waitress ( who was very nice), the burger was not edible and not what I ordered.They offered to put the burger BACK ON THE GRILL !!!
It was 30 years ago they had good burgers here.
I'll come back again in 30 years ....maybe.

I came to visit from Ohio for a family affair and I used to go here when I lived in Hoffman Estates many years ago. The one thing I find puzzling is that happy hour pricing is only available to those that sit at the bar.
So if you’re at a high top in the bar area, you are not included in happy hour pricing.
Not appreciated. Happy hour should include all in bar area.

After 5 years of not getting to come here, I was not disappointed. It was just as good as I remembered, and the service was just as phenomenal now as it was then ?. Now, if I didn't live 4hrs away ?.

Kid-friendliness: If you're thinking of bringing kids, they do have a kids menu. Unfortunately, I forgot to snap a pic of it. The waitress was very patient and kind with my 5 and 7 year olds.

I have been coming here for 30+ years and been here hundreds of times. I have been living out of state and was excited to come back to the assembly. TBH the food was not good at all the burger was dry the pretzel bun was hard and overall I would have to say the food isn’t close to as good as it used to be. Price is also way too high for a burger that has no taste and a hard stale bun. Carrot cake was ok- but $40 for a burger that was not as good as Burger King and a piece of carrot cake is a total joke. I came here when Assembly was voted best burger and I recommended it to everyone. Unfortunately now it’s not even as good as 5 guys.
