Fantastic food, great service, comfortable ambiance; my husband went here for date night and will definitely return! He said it was one of the best steaks he has had in years.

Had gone to the Saddle Room 3 times prior, and absolutely loved it! Food and service were great! This time, for my wife and my anniversary, a complete 180. Waitress was moody and almost condescending...not at all busy; so, not due to overwork. Main food came out late with no updates or even checks for drink refreshes...a good 40 minutes or so. Meats and fish came out undercooked (not per our request)...very underwhelming...wife sent salmon back. We are not typically complainers; but, the pricing isn't exactly cheap and this was our anniversary. Restaurant did nothing out of the ordinary for the anniversary...a candle and a half sliver of cheesecake. For the price, I would expect more. Capital Grille last year for our anniversary adorned the table prior to our arrival with heart confetti and card with all staffs' signatures. Our in-laws joined us, and CG gave us all complimentary glasses of champagne. The lobster tail I'd ordered with my steak was a little delayed (1 min), and the chef voluntarily sent out an additional tail free of charge to simply accompany the dish until the other was ready! Finished everything off with complimentary pastries and cakes for all of us with the plates decorated with chocolate drizzle spelling "Happy Anniversary". This was our first time at Capital Grille! No preferential treatment! Saddle Room could take a note from Capital Grille's book!

 we had the jambalaya and the apple cheese salad. The jambalaya was too hot and the apple cheese salad was very good. I thought the jambalaya was overpriced and I would not get it again. The fireplaces are cool and the ambient is better than average and the service was OK.

My Fiancée and I went to The Saddle Room for the first time to celebrate the new year. Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed, we asked if there were any booths available and we were offered a booth right by the fireplace. Our server was excellent and well attentive. He made sure all of our needs were met. Free champagne was given at midnight to ring in the new year, which made it a very memorable moment. Overall it was a wonderful experience, looking forward to visiting again.

Great servers, great food, always a top choice outside of Chicago! I've dined here since its opening and the consistency of the experience is top notch. I've never been concerned with the quality of both of their restaurants. It just never disappoints.

We have dined here a few times and it's usually very good. This time the service was somewhat slow. My wife ordered the poke' bowl. She didn't say much at first, but then told me she didn't like the tuna inside it because it had a fishy taste. We eat sushi very frequently and know that if it tastes fishy, it is not fresh at all. We left very disappointed.

Absolutely one of the best meals in a long long time. The farm to table proteins were absolutely amazing in both taste and tender nous. The protein actually tastes like the proteins from the past. The freshness and non-processed ingredients of all the items were spot on. Highly recommend a try at The Saddle Room. Also, Tara was the best service I've had in a long time. J.R.

It was very busy I think they could use more servers at busy times. Waitress was great!! But stretched thin. It was not on her in anyway. It was very loud hard to hear people right next to us at the table. We eat here often- always excellent. It was our first busy time visit~ we wont do that again.

My girlfriend and I just went to The Saddle Room for a date night and they did not disappoint! The ambiance is very cozy for how big the place is, and the fireplace with real burning wood was a very nice touch. The service staff is very friendly and professional, and our server Jason was attentive, warm, and kind. We shared the pastrami salmon bruschetta which was decent, but the Tuna Tartare was very fresh and delightful. The main courses stole the show! She had the Braised pork, and I had the Prime Cut Ribeye. We finished with a cappuccino and espresso, which they both were very good! I highly recommend this place! It's perfect for a nice night out for two or a group!
