Unique venue with a saddle/horse atmosphere. A little dark, rustic with a group style center fireplace. Great food and drink options. Lunch was kind of quiet and made it easy for conversation but it’s a very large venue with lots of smaller party rooms available. I’m sure the dinner crowd will fill the place up. Too cold for being on the patio, but it looks great with a couple of fireplaces, outside bar and a nice wooded pond view. Probably very popular in the summer.

Had high expectations from a recommendation from friends. The menu and prices suggested it was close to high end. Tuna appetizer and calamari were bland and lacked character. The half chicken was about the size of one regular chicken breast. My wife's filet came doused in a sauce that was so salty it parched my lips closed when I tasted it. No need to say we'll probably never be back.

Great food a very wide variety for everyone to choose from. Cocktails were great, a bit high in price . Center fireplace is great to relax with a cocktail. Bar is great and overall very nice restaurant. Only downfall was slow service which should be better for the price. We would go back

10/10...don't let old reviews fool you... I am not easily impressed and mannnnn....not a single complaint. In fact, all praise! The food was incredible... The apple cheese salad was chefs kiss... The sous vide chicken so moist and flavorful... The mashed potatoes were creamy heaven... And sitting by the fire in a cozy dim atmosphere is just what I didn't know I needed .. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! THANK YOU For an amazing dinner and experience!

I have been here a few times & it does not disappoint. Yesterday my boyfriend and I went in for Valentine’s Day. Our servers name was Mandy & she was so polite & gave wonderful service. She also picked our dessert out for us & picked out the goat cheese cheesecake. It was great & so was her service.
What an awesome place! We celebrated our anniversary here, and we were both blown away. The staff was amazing and food was delicious. I would wholeheartedly eat there again.

Wow, what an amazing place! The moody and amazing atmosphere makes it a perfect date night spot! The food was extremely fresh and delicious, I love that it’s all clean, organic, farm to table ingredients and food! The calamari was unique and as good as it gets, ribeye was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the mashed potatoes were out of this world addictive. Kara was our waitress and she was above and beyond amazing, making you feel like you’re at home. She was super welcoming and hospitable, it’s rare to see this level of care and service now a days!! Thanks for a great experience Kara! My wife and I will definitely be coming back!

I always enjoy visiting Saddle Room, as it strikes the perfect balance between casual and classy. The ambiance is unique, especially with the cozy fireplaces inside and outside. The restaurant is thoughtfully divided into different sections, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Saddle Room boasts a fantastic variety of food and drinks, with the soups being a delightful surprise; they change regularly, except for the lobster bisque, which is exceptional! Although the soup isn’t on the menu, it’s definitely a hidden gem worth trying.
If you’re a fan of martinis, you’ll be in for a treat, they are absolutely fantastic! Overall, Saddle Room is a wonderful spot that never disappoints.

A fantastic first visit — already planning the return
We had a great experience at The Saddle Room in Hoffman Estates. We just missed happy hour (it ends at 5:30), but honestly that just gives us an excuse to come back and try it another day.
I’m not usually a martini person, but the cocktails here completely changed my mind. The Seedless Martini was crisp and beautifully balanced, and the Toasted Marshmallow Campfire Old Fashioned was outstanding—smooth, smoky, and just the right touch of sweet. Truly top-notch drinks.
Food-wise, everything hit. The Korean duck wings were delicious—slightly on the salty side, but incredibly savory and satisfying. The mushroom soup was a great addition and comforting without being heavy. The beet salad was fresh and perfectly paired with goat cheese and arugula.
The standout entrée was the short rib—incredibly tender and packed with flavor. And the triene potatoes deserve special mention… honestly worth coming back just for that side alone. Incredible.
Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks. Can’t wait to return (and this time, we’re making happy hour). 🍸🥩🔥

okay place. Reputation is better than the actual place. Food was alright but not spectacular and didn't align with the price. Server was friendly. Bar service was super slow.

If you arrive after 3pm they give you the more expensive menu. We had a few in our party that wanted burgers and has to request a special menu.

Had a great meal with family, It was a Monday night so very low key. We overlook going here a lot and should be making it a regular in our dinner rotation. Our waitress was great.
