Chesdan's Pizzeria and Grille

The food is good. I havent visited in quite a while and their pricing is pretty high, specially the wine prices. All glasses start at $10 unless you go on a weeknite. It wouldnt be bad if it was high end liquor but it's stuff you pick up at osco, or walgreens for a few bucks. If your not a wine drinker you wouldn't notice the taste or know about cost. Even appetizers are ridiculously high for bar food. This is not a high end restaurant by any means. A party of 3: (1 ravioli appetizer, an XL, sausage pizza, and four glasses of house wines) $122 for bar food! I would recommend take-out and pick up some wine on the way home. They do have good pizza, it has sweet sauce. It was almost empty at 6 p.m on a Saturday nite.I can see why!

I ordered a pizza by phone at 4:45 P.M. last Saturday. I told the female employee that I was going to church at 5:00 P.M. and asked for the pizza to be ready at 6:15 P.M. I got there to pick it up at 6:10 P.M. and the pizza was brought right out. When I got it home the pizza was stone cold! They apparently started to make it at 4:45 P.M. even though I told them that I wouldn’t be there until 6:15 P.M. It was a wasted $30.00. I won’t be ordering any more pizzas from them.

Bring back the old oven from Archer Ave. The ingrediants are the same but the crust is not good.

Their a top 10. The food quality is amazing, quick and they can serve groups of any size parties. The pizza is fabulous, Ruben are probably the best in the area, soups are great, cocktails are tasty. Just wonderful. It is worthy your money, enjoy.

I know this is primarily a pizza place, but dont sleep on the lasagna. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. I am very picky because I make my own, and this was very close to my own. If you like a cheese lasagna, this is your place! Texture, seasoning in the ricotta, sauce- perfect! My husband and dad tried something different and went with the steak sandwich, and hitman burger. Both were overcooked and the hitman did not seem as advertised. Pizza, which is their thing, was really good- thin pub style grateful flavor sauce! Overall great experience!

Chesdan’s is a long-time pizza and pasta spot in Homer Glen. It’s on the small side but don’t let its small size fool you, they serve absolutely top quality delectable dishes! Our favorite is the Jimmy’s Rigatoni. A must try!!! Get the full size dish to share with your love or to take some home. The serving staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is what you’d expect from a small Italian style eatery. A visit will not disappoint and I think you’ll return again and again. A+
