I come here once in a while for breakfast. I love their American breakfast. The potatoes are really good, the sausage is tasty and best to have a mimosa with my breakfast is great too. Great to see a bar serving breakfast food on the weekends. Change of atmosphere and great place to be at.

If I lived in the area, this could be my "place". Good food with a wide array of choices. Very cool atmosphere. People are friendly. Drinks are cold - and they have Guinness on tap so there's THAT! Just a warm, relaxing, cozy feel with good food!I'll be back! And you should check it out!

A true neighborhood bar (relaxed atmosphere). The service, food quality, and value combined for a five star rating.Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the service team Erik, and Angela (?). Their friendly, prompt service continued thru the evening.I was part of a group of five regulars, one of whom was a colleague who resides in the area. This was fun time in relaxed atmosphere.I had a beer to start and later a Makers Manhattan, which was a Tuesday drink special.There was a good variety of food around the table. Wraps, chicken tenders, etc. I had the best grilled ham & cheese... real ham, cut from the ham, not some basic store bought thin sliced product. I swear I made a sandwich like this once from Easter leftovers!When the bill arrived for me and my colleague, I almost laughed. Approx $45 for two beers, a quality "top shelf" manhattan w ice ball, and two meals! (In any other major city our meal would be double that amount).The main entrance was through the patio. No big deal. Just a mystery on where to enter, as not clearly marked.If I lived in the area, I'd be a weekly fixture.

Tavern in Glen is the epitome of a perfect neighborhood sports bar. The food, drink, and experience overdeliver from the typical bar/restaurant in the area. Kevin/Woody/Greg have done a wonderful job turning this restaurant/bar into the best spot in Homer Glen.

Tavern in the Glen is a great Irish tavern with a wonderful staff. The staff is so friendly. The food is delicious, I had the grilled steak wrap. It was enough to share. The chicken tenders are the flat chicken tenderloins that I love. The beer and drinks selection had something for everyone. One of the owners, Kevin, was there and he knew all his regulars. They have gambling machines if you're into that. The outside patio has a shuffle board game for a table, really cool. There's plenty of room inside and out. The restrooms were clean. There's plenty of parking. I'll definitely be back there next time I'm in town. They treated this Yankee fan very well, even with my hat on. LOL
