Food was good and really enjoyed the vibe....perfect place to meet friends.
With so few restaurants available out here on the Illiana Prairie, I am so very thankful, to still have The Pump for great lunches and dinners. Once again, today, I was able to take one of my helpers to lunch and enjoy a delicious grilled smash burger,with a side of pepper jack cheese curds (The best vegetable side dish known to mankind). The Pump could be one of the best kept secrets outside of Hoopeston. Great atmosphere, friendly patrons and attentive staff. Their ribeye sandwich and smash burgers are my favorite and they make a kickass Moscow mule. I’m not from Hoopeston but they make visitors feel like family.Parking: Needs more parking space. I was concerned about door dings and backing up.
