Food is good but they charge Xtra for chips and water. Apparently they don't split checks. Seems like there has been some changes recently and not for the better.

First they charge for chips, now they take away the sauce that you pour on tacos. Was an amazing place to eat but will go down hill quick when you nickel and dime customer. Sofias place literally charges you for water when you ask for a cup of water.You can go to any shop around taco elnorte, Alonso’s, el norteno and not get nickel and dimed like this place does to their customers let alone they all give you sauce to pour on your tacos. Sad to see this happen because I loved this joint.

The food is excellent here. I ordered the 3 soft taco plate and the b/f had the Chile rellenos and the Barbacoa chimichunga. You get fresh made chips with homemade salsas. Sooo good. We also ordered the guacamole and more chips. Everything is homemade and very good. Highly recommend!

We used Eduardo's Catering/Sophia's Place for a private birthday party in October 2023. Eduardo could not have been more accommodating or easy to work with, and the food was GREAT! Taco bar, quesadillas, chili rellenos, and chicken fajitas - all received rave reviews from us and our guests. The service provided by Eduardo and his staff was excellent, and again totally accommodating to our needs. Their bartender was in an accident, so Eduardo filled in as bartender at the last minute and did a super job of mixing margaritas and serving mixed drinks (plus more). They cleaned up and boxed the remaining food for us, so we had to do very little. We highly, highly recommend Eduardo's Catering!

We were looking for a Mexican restaurant to eat at with friends and this place did not disappoint. The tortilla chips they hand out are meh but we didn't come for that. It's nice that they include them with 3 different types of salsas and different spiciness levels. I had the steak burrito and they filled this thing with a big portion of steak. My wife had the steak tacos and they also filled those up really nicely. The steak was well marinated, flavorful. They also had Victoria beers from Mexico. Would come again to enjoy a quick bite to eat

We LOVE Sofia's Place! We have had them cater multiple birthday parties and everyone always raves about the food. One year it was my daughter's birthday party they were catering, they brought her a sunflower and a bag of candy for her birthday. It was so sweet.Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is not a problem here. They have been great with their accommodations.

Our group of 8 had lunch a couple of weeks ago. The food was all very good, normal Mexican fare, enchiladas, tacos, etc. The margaritas were good.Parking: Large parkinglot.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible dining room but didn't use the bathrooms so can't comment on those.

Decent taco, ok flan, food is overpriced. There are dozens of better mexican restaurants in the area. Biggest problem was service was bad, couldn't even get a cup of water when asked (waitress said they only sell bottles of water but they had cups and a fountain machine?) Not coming back here ever again. $14 for one small taco a slife of flan. Not worth it.
