This must be the best breakfast we had in Chicago. We were staying close to this place and went looking for a Starbucks (this used to be one) and the Google Maps take us here, thanks God. The staff were highly helpful and kind, also the people of the area. Great coffee, food at a really good price.

Extra hot Carmel latte, though a bit too sweet. Great setup, lots of indoor & outdoor sitting available, location right on the corner. Price for a small latte with flavor, $5.46, can't beat that.

Friendly staff and quick service are great and make you feel welcome. What was surprising, though, is the food. The coffee is good, but the variety of sandwiches they offer are excellent, and priced very fairly for the area.

I visited Fulla Beans for the first time today (June 20th at 12:15 PM) and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the customer service.
The cashier, a young woman with dark hair, an accent, and wearing a blue shirt, was working the register. I asked if they offered a military discount, and she initially tried to apply it. When it didn’t go through, she quickly said, “I’m sorry, it’s not taking it, so it will be $10.97.” I said wait, so you don’t offer military discount? And she stated, “Yes, we do but I’m sorry it’s not taking it so it will be $10.97.” She acted like she was trying again but made no real effort to troubleshoot or ask a coworker for help.
When I asked if she could get assistance, she replied, “No, the owners aren’t here.” That response seemed like an unnecessary jump, especially for such a minor checkout issue that any coworker could have helped with. Eventually, after some back and forth, she finally walked over to a coworker wearing a pink shirt, who came over and immediately resolved the issue by entering the correct input. It took just seconds.
The whole interaction left a bad impression. It felt like the original cashier showed little initiative to help and made what should’ve been a quick and respectful process unnecessarily difficult. While I’m not accusing anyone of being purposely discriminatory, the lack of effort and dismissive attitude did make me uncomfortable. There are plenty of other coffee spots in the area, so I won’t be returning to Fulla Beans.

The service here is amazing. The people here, especially Rose, are nice and caring. I like that I can get a cold or hot beverage. The food is great, too. And it's just a great place to sit for awhile. Very welcoming place.
My husband and I have been searching for a coffee shop that feels more unique than the standard chain options. This place is it! The coffee is incredible, the bagels are fresh and delicious, and the homemade cream cheese is a must-try! Every time we walk in, we feel genuinely welcomed by the friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming here often!
