Went here to pick up a Grubhub order for a customer. They had ordered a lot of sandwiches and cookies. It took them probably 20 to 25 minutes to make the sandwiches. That’s fine. What’s not fine is waiting until you made the sandwiches to then tell the customer. “Oh, we don’t have enough cookies.” Told me it would take about 15 minutes to bake them. I told them it would’ve been smarter and more efficient to just bake the cookies before making the sandwiches so that they had time to Bake and the customer would not be missing out on their cookies. I tried to tell him to bake the cookies and he kept Pausing instead of actually doing it So I ended up dropping the order and I told them to bake the damn cookies so that the customer can get their cookies. Why do you have to overcomplicate things just plan ahead it’s not that difficult and that way you’re not screwing people out of their things you had the cookies all you had to do is bake them instead of wasting my time in their time. I could’ve been out the door when I’m supposed to be out the door. The order was already late as it was and I missed out on $14. I didn’t have to drop the order. I was tired of waiting and if I had stayed a minute longer, I would’ve blown a gasket. I only have so much patience when you do stupid stuff like that and waste people’s time it’s disrespectful I will be avoiding this location from now on. I will not pick up orders from here. I will not place orders here. This is not the first subway that has had this problem get your act together. It’s not that hard. I’ve worked in the food, industry and it has always boggles my mind how anyone could let something so silly happen. It was on the receipt you look at the cookie case see that there’s not enough cookies throw more in the oven. It’s that simple. Yeah it adds an extra minute or two but considering how long it was going to take for me to get information from the customer about what cookies they want which they only wanted those cookies It’s just over complicate everything and create delay that didn’t need to exist. I really hope that this doesn’t happen again it’s just so dumb. I’m sorry if I came off as rude, but to be fair, you ignored me for 12 minutes and then dropped that bomb on me. Then I have to contact the customer to ask them what cookies they want when they already told you what Cookies they wanted and if you had just put them in the oven, they would’ve been ready. Do better.
Not fresh vegetables
Ants in the counter and fountain drinks
The sandwich was delicious and very well made. Will definitely make this my new subway location. I love that it's close to home.
If I want a bread sandwich with 2 tablespoons of tuna I can do that at home for less than a dollar. I give the whole Subway chain less than 10 years before they're all gone.
Not sure why all the bad reviews. It's a good subway. Guy behind me in line was being impatient. Give me a break!

paid for fresh mozzarella and had to remove it from sandwich because it was moldy on the sides and looked like it was cut 2 weeks ago
The food was good and a nice environment...I just wished the worker wouldn't have stayed on the phone talking so loudly while I was trying to enjoy my lunch break.

Employee doesn't know the difference between italain herb and white bread and then wouldn't remake my sandwiches. Only because others were dependent on lunch or I would have just walked out. Not coming back.

The promotion of two feet long for the price of one is a scam. What did the seller do? Divide 1 ingredient into two loaves? I have bought at this location twice now, and it is a disappointment. The first time, I didn't say anything and gave it another chance. I find it incredible!

4/7/24 - AntsThis place has ants. I was just about to check out with a sandwich and cookies and noticed several ants on the counter by the cash register. Wasn't a big deal until I started looking elsewhere. I saw lots of ants in the cookie display and a couple ants crawling on the counter around the vegetables. The server was a bit rude as he tried to make it seem as though there weren't ants anywhere else and wanted to get me to make my purchase. It felt like he was trying to make it seem less severe than it really was. Pretty disappointing.

This place is a joke. Charging me 8.56 for a 6 inch when it clearly states on the board 6.99. Tells me those are old prices. Total scam. Never again will I go there. I know we will never see $5 foot-longs anymore 8.50 for a 6 inch, that’s ridiculous
Slow service
The Subway in Itasca is my go-to place for a quick and tasty lunch. The sandwich artist named Sarah is incredible at her craft. She takes the time to listen to my specific requests and ensures that each ingredient is perfectly placed. I love the Turkey Breast sandwich that Sarah makes for me - it's always fresh and packed with flavor. I can't thank her enough for making each visit a delightful experience!

I can't say enough good things about the Subway location in Itasca! The sandwich artist, John, always greets me with a smile and makes my visit enjoyable. His attention to detail and passion for creating delicious sandwiches is truly commendable. I highly recommend trying the Italian B.M.T. sandwich, as John's skillful assembly makes it taste even better. Great job, John!
