If you are in town on a Monday this is your best choice for a cold beer or drink. $1 10z Coors lt or stag drafts. Food choices range from Frozen pizzas to sometimes chili. Luckily Guse's is open on Mondays and has great specials.

We are from out of town and was on the hunt for a bar and grill. As we were looking places up on the internet we saw Docs bar and grill. As we went looking for it we walked into Don's place because we misread the sign out front. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and told that they don't serve food but he very nicely took us outside and pointed to a few places nearby that did serve food. Don's is Jacksonville's version of "Cheers": everyone knows your name. The bartenders and owner Danny are always friendly and have different events all the time. Make sure to check out the crab races!!
