Great local diner-ish place with lots of home style options. Serves breakfast all day. The fried chicken is worth the wait — hot, fresh, and delicious light breading. Entrees are very large portions and everything we had was great. We had fried chicken, ham steak, fries, mashed potatoes, salad, and pickled beets. Enjoyed the meal at a very reasonable price. There are obviously regulars who were eating there and the waitress was friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat there again when in town.

Kim’s is the most authentic Korean restaurant in Jacksonville. Ms. Kim is extremely engaging and has a mother-like care for her customers and her cooking. Right when you walk in the door, she makes sure that you are taken care of just like you are in a local Korean home. From the start, the banchan is amazing and when asked for more, Ms. Kim gives generous second orders. The main courses are all hearty and will leave you pleasantly full. You will not regret your time here. 5 stars.
