I don't know if this place is under new management or what but they have messed up my order twice in a row. Both times they did not add extra peppers and second time when I asked about it the employee there replied very rudely that you only get 1 extra pepper when you pay for it. I do not recommend this place untilled management changes.

Sticker machine was down. Got some employees with bad attitudes. Waited over an hour and half no update. Called was on hold for 30min got dressed and drove over to the store to find it full of people. Then finally was waiting for them to cook it and the dirty looks were awful

Ordered the same thing I do most every Wednesday online. Always order thin crust and square cut. Apparently 15 dollars an hour in Illinois doesn't jar anyone to pay attention to detail.

Ordered ny style and thin crust that would've been almost $100. Used the discount and got food that was discounted on quality. Crust was to hard to eat hardly any sauce. The papa bowl the cheese inside wasn't even melted. It was bad. I think I will go without before ordering from your store in jacksonville illinois again. Absolutely pathetic

Papa Johns has some amazing pizza, staff, and semi-reasonable prices. However, they have some extremely annoying and frustrating policies that I'm very disappointed in. Every wednesday they run a promo code "Wacky" for a 5 topping pizza for 9.99, multiple people have told me about it, and I would prefer that over going to the Carryout Deal they have running for 9.99 large pizza. I make my order, I apply the coupon, I place my tip, and see the total as roughly 18 dollars. Totally respectable, with the delivery fee and a tip I don't mind paying the extra price for convenience. I go to pay, and it gives me a popup saying "You do not meet the minimum order amount of $10.00 for the store you have selected." Excuse me? For one, that is a lie and trying to disprove that is semantics, and two, why would you advertise a deal then tell me I'm actually not allowed to get the deal unless I do something I wasn't told ahead of time? I went through the entire process, only to be told SIKE, you don't get to save money after all. A friend of mine suggested I go to doordash and order through that website to get the deal, but it was surprisingly closed on the doordash app. I call the store and they tell me that the issue is that it is a Carry Out only coupon code. Why then, does it not specify that? There is already a weeklong 9.99 carryout code with less toppings, and no where did it stop me from expecting a delivery order until it begged me for more money. Fix it and I'll change my review and start buying from you again. Until then, I won't be coming back.

I ordered the "works" and ended up getting wrong order. It came with pineapples and stuffed cheese crust. I'm not a fan of heavy cheese and always asked for "easy on cheese." They occasionally got my orders wrong.
Update Sept 11, 2024: I ordered again today and they got my order right this time!

My papadia had so much buffalo sauce on it that it was dripping out and barely had any chicken in it. The worker was unfriendly and was trying to play mechanic and cook at the same time. I won’t be going back.
Great food, little expensive, but what pizza isn't nowadays? Always friendly when I walk in to pick up my pie. The only reason it got one star is because it's a quick in and out. Nit really much else.
The thin crust heart shaped pizza with my added toppings was really good. However, surprisingly the pizza was NOT cut. I had to do that myself.

Placed an online order for pickup. We live about 25 min away from the store, so I made sure to order as we were headed into town to allow plenty of time for them to complete the order. Upon arriving at the store, all the lights were on, and the open sign was flashing, but the doors were locked. I knocked on the door, and a guy came and said they were closed and tried to shut the door without any other explanation. I said I had an online order for pickup, and he rolled his eyes and said we are closed and the order call center is still taking them, so they just cancel the order at their end. I called the number back, and the call center acted like it was our fault they messed up and then hung up on us.

I placed a carry out order and they gave me an approximate time for when the order would be ready, and I was supposed to get a text when it was ready for pickup. I arrived earlier than the estimated time, and the order had been sitting there for awhile, I never received any notifications.
