Nice and clean. Possibly new? I haven't taco John's since I've been to Iowa probably more than 20 years ago so definitely a surprise to see this one here. Onto the food. I got nachos and a steak burrito. The nachos were good looking as they used three different colors for chips but literally tasted like I was eating those nachos with the squirt on cheese and chili that you get at a gas station. I mean I guess it makes sense because this place is connected to a gas station. The steak burrito was just so bland and unjuicy if that's even a word. I guess I should have gotten salsa maybe and squirted inside because it was so dry inside. I will never get that food again. I might as well save a little bit of money and get gas station food which is right there anyway and be just a satisfied with the experience

Should have known better to begin with, with it being in a truck stop. Way overpriced for slop. The food was an absolute disgrace, cold undercooked disappointment to say the least not to mention the staff isn’t very coherent. Would not recommend save yourself the disgusting disappointment and take my word for it. I’d rather scrounge through the dumpster out back instead. At least I’d expect trash from there. Oh good luck using the app they won’t honor it
