Elm City Roastery

Stopped in the Jacksonville location for the first time this morning. Sturgill Simpson playing on the radio, Kevin Veara paintings on the walls, and Beelzebunz Jamaican meat pies in the pastry case, need I say more? Wait I will, the owner was very pleasant and the cold brew coffee was perfect, no sugar or cream needed, the roast flavor was smooth and delicious. I’ll be back the next time I make the trip to Jacksonville.

Since moving to Jacksonville this past summer, Elm City Roastery has become my favorite place to get coffee and just hang out in general. Great atmosphere and music and their pour over coffee rocks! Can't recommend the place enough, and the owner is friendly and always happy to answer questions.

I visited here for the first time today. I ordered a chai tea, which is very different for me. It was amazing for a non coffee drink, and I would recommend this place to anyone. The barista was very nice also.

Isabel made me a fabulous brown butter sage latte and changed the whole direction of my day. My first time here, and I’ll be back.

Seriously great spot in Urbana. I took my kid on a Saturday and the vibes are unmatched. There were games to entertain the kids AND some insanely fire🔥 hot cocoa that was even offered at a kids temp to allow them to drink right away. My latte was A-MA-ZING! Would be a great spot to catch up on some work during the week or unwind on the weekend!

Obviously the coffee here is amazing, but the chocolate milk is some kind of witchcraft magic that my kids love. ❤️

I ordered an iced honey lavender latte, which had great flavor. The coffee was high quality. There are many menu options for anyone’s taste. Quiet, eclectic atmosphere with various seating. Highly recommend! I would love to come back and try more!

Best cup of coffee, good flavor, the service is fantastic, the conversation with Ben is the best. Ben is very knowledgeable of coffee and roasting. I always need to stop when I drive thru Jacksonville to get the best cup of coffee in the universe. Thanks Ben, keep up the good roasting.

Best coffee shop in Jacksonville, hands down.With 3 different fresh roasted beans choices, there are many combinations for anyone coffee connoisseur.I asked about the difference in the beans, and I got a thorough description. I picked a pour over, with Ethiopian beans, and my wife ordered apistachio latte, both were outstanding drinks.It's not only the fresh roasted coffee which makes Elm City different. This coffee roaster boasts a professional, clean, well lit- atmosphere . I feel the most important point to make was I felt welcome in this based coffee shop, unlike other coffee shops off the square.Our new coffee shop! Well done!
