Our senior group from church met here for bkfst. We had 14 people. We had called ahead to notify them of possible 15 people. They only had one server to wait on us plus she also had to see to other customers that came in. The food was delicious but some got food as others were just about finishing.
Didn't like that they-or their software- automatically applied the credit card charges on every bill. When asked they rectified them.

Best sit down Mexican in the McHenry area! Conveniently located on the fox river with docks so you can access it by boat or car. Outdoor seating is nice views of the water but I wish they would get more comfortable chairs instead of picnic tables for out there. The inside is nice and there are slot machines if that is your thing. Some of our favorites are the queso with chorizo as a starter, birrira quesadillas, tortas, and pastor tacos. For breakfast I love their Mexican omelette...

Our go-to spot for taco Tuesday!!! The chorizo is by far my favorite - the flavor is amazing - it is savory but has a bit of a kick to it. I also like the carne asada & al pastor area! This is the only place I will go for authentic Mexican food in the McHenry/Johnsburg area. They always have great service, a welcoming atmosphere & it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a nice meal with river views on a nice day.
