Great Historic atmosphere on beautiful Pistakee Lake in Johnsburg IL. Great drink prices, service, staff and friendly neighborhood patronage make Oak Park Lounge a landmark on the Chain for over 100 years! There is a reason new friends are made every day and old friends still come to share in the history that makes this neighborhood establishment flourish over the years! Oak Park Lounge is a great little bar on the water with familiar faces, cold beers, and a fast pool table. The outside area is nice to enjoy, but unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the beach area despite being dog-friendly. It's a top spot for fireworks with food carts, inexpensive drinks, and live music from Blindspot.
