We wanted to give this place a shot after our last time a year ago. Service was good, the view was good but the food... Hard pass.

Great place for an awesome bite on the water, everyone’s super friendly, the food rocks. Just an overall amazing place to be.

Very nice, and beautiful hidden little gem. Staff is very friendly, and very attentive. Laid-back atmosphere with a nice play area for the kids.

Place has a great potential stopped by for lunch after vet appointment with dog on outside patio. When ordering drinks girlfriend asked how the margaritas tasted and girl said they lacked ingredients (even tho it’s a special) she opted for vodka lemonade mixture which was missing something also. She had beef sandwich not bad on taste wrong style bun and small. I had smash burger which actually came with two burgers with no toppings and both had fries which could be amazing but over cooked, recooked and old oil. Asked server about fries she just said they appeared to be over cooked and walked away and seemed to care less. Music for a lake bar could be better not everyone likes acid rock! Will try again for the fresh fries could be so good.. hopefully they work out the kinks.

Great place to get food and drinks!! Right on the water so you can come with your boat, with a beautiful view. Plenty of things for the kids to do too! Just a great vibe all around and the staff is amazing. Definitely recommend!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about the backyard. The service and food is amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

If i could leave zero stars i would. I had a very disappointing experience at Backyard Barn . After hearing positive things about the lakeside atmosphere, I was expecting a relaxing evening with good food and decent service, but the reality was far from that. The main issue was the management there. It felt like the place was being run by people who have no idea how to manage a business. Until there’s a serious change in leadership, I would avoid this place altogether.

Service was not good - not busy and the waiter outside was more worried about hitting on two women than waiting on customers - left without ordering food - we usually love this place

Under new management. Outstanding lakefront ambiance, sort of a divey getaway. Tasty snack/sandwich food in a relaxing summer lakefront atmosphere. Don't go there for the service.

Parking: Definitely an out of the way location...difficult to find, but worth the effort.

I would give this place 0 stars but due to the fact they updated their chairs and tables 1 star is required. We went based of the lake view and amazing outside patio... come to find out we need to get menus ourselves, order food from one location and drinks from another, with seperate tickets. They need to step up, when dining on the lake servers and service is expected.
