My husband and I recently got married here on June 18th 2021. Everything was perfect except for a few things:
-We were told that the outside area where we would be having our ceremony at would be really pretty with bright colored flowers. There was not a single bright colored flower in sight. It was all green. We had to buy our own flowers to brighten up our ceremony area.
-My husband and his family were outside taking pre-ceremony pictures and there were three other groups of people out there also getting pictures taken or doing a wedding rehearsal. They were getting in the back of our pictures and just being rude about it. I feel that our venue should have been closed completely or closed early for our wedding day because we paid all this money for the venue and for everything to be perfect. Having other people there just ruined it completely. Luckily our photographer is awesome at what she does and none of our photos were ruined.
-The event coordinator/caterer was showing the venue to another couple before our ceremony. It was very rude. Like I said before, we paid a lot of money for the venue and I’m sure the other couple could have waited until the next day to see the venue then instead of on our wedding day.
-We were also supposed to meet a day of event coordinator for our wedding day. That never happened either.
-Our after dinner snacks were served without anyone’s knowledge. After half our guests had left we noticed our brownies had been served.
Our wedding was perfect but the venue definitely can do better. I hope no other bride and groom have to go through what we did.
