Bernie's Jerk Kitchen & Waffles

It's No Longer Named Bernie's J*** Kitchen & Waffles now its Tha Kitchen same location.And the food was not worth 35.00 ,I pick up my family and I a J*** Salmon Dinner and A J*** Chicken Dinner with a Shrimp Taco..First off the prices are ridiculous for how much food you get . My Taco was a pack of 35cent Corn tortilla shells that was Microwave too long so it was super hard to eat with 4 J*** shrimp on there and some cheese and lettuce for 5.00.. Our dinners had instant Garlic Mashed potatoes in them that was like baby food.. are you serious!!!and the smallest piece of frozen and Thaw Salmon that was burnt not Jerked okay its a difference for $15.00 anytime I pay this much for food I can eat on it for two days..I was so disappointed cause I only went because of The article I read..but I won't be back...

Best comfort and soul food in this area and now Chicagoland hands down! Good every time! Delicious and fresh, very sad they are temporarily closed down.

I called in customer service told me 15 to 20 mins my order will be ready when I got their they even start my order I had to wait another 45 mins

Placed a order through a third party site I was expecting a delivery and unfortunately the establishment waited until I was suppose to receive my food to cancel the order. Now not only has my time bees wasted but my money is tied up for 3-5 business days for food that I don’t even know if it’s worth eating, I guess I just saved myself $24 and a tip and bellyache.

Most J*** places think it is a contest to see how spicy the j*** chicken is. Bernie's has an amazing flavor without being over spiced. Best damn j*** chicken I have had in a very long time!

Your gonna get a different experience every time you go...I’ve been there a total of 3 times. The first time the everything tasted sour or like it had a tang to it including the Mac. Next time I went it was a Friday the food was amazing baked Mac, greens, sweet potato was good just perfect not overly sour either. I just went again today on a Sunday and it wasn’t a pleasant experience the Mac tasted like it was stove top box Mac and cheese. What happened to the baked?!? I just think the experience needs to be the same every time. I refuse to eat from here now because I don’t know how their gonna cook my food. Feels like I’m getting a new cook every time.

I was pretty impressed with the food here. Turned out to be hidden gem! I will definitely be back! I will upgrade this review if they're consistent!

Sides over cooked unfortunately there j*** ribs is not off the barbecue grill but the j*** sauce was great.

The food was really good, homemade, fresh. Seasoned perfectly. Cashier was super sweet. 10/10 would recommend

Well this was my first time trying them and got home and they forgot to give me my cornbread, the salmon and macaroni and cheese was over seasoned, the chicken was good but couldn't eat the skin because it was so blackened bit it is a "***** food place. I tried it but I think my $40 could have been spent better elsewhere. Its close and I wanted to try something different. Thanks but no thanks. Wish I had cornbread to go with my greens.
