Thank you Damen, John, George and the entire Bishops Hill Family for a wonderful evening filled with amazing wine and great conversations. Will definitely be back!
We have been going to Bishops Hill for several years. Their award winning wines are simply delicious. The castle like architecture is amazing, we notice new and interesting details on every visit; it feels as if you have been transported to Europe. The staff Sommelier is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, she welcomes questions with comprehensive answers. We absolutely love this winery.
The wine was fantastic, the service was even better! Linda gave us a tour of the entire property, Jim made sure we were taken care of, and Makenzie had great recommendations! Would highly suggest, and can't wait to be back to this gorgeous historic location!
There are not enough stars on Google for me to give this wonderful place. Atmosphere, service, personality, style, all are unparalleled at Bishop’s Hill. Amazing, unique wines and fantastic light food are just the beginning. Since discovering this gem of Joliet, I unfortunately had to move across the country. Whenever I find myself back in town, Bishop’s Hill is high on my list of must-visits. They cater to wine aficionados and casual enjoyers with equal enthusiasm and the bright smiles of their friendly staff are the perfect icing on an otherwise wonderful cake of an experience. If forced to conjure a criticism, I’d have to say I wish they shipped to MA but I blame the government for that, and picking up bottles in person is a fantastic reason to visit this stunningly restored mansion.
With much love, all the way from Massachusetts.
Hosted a bridal shower here last weekend. We rented out the lower level. Such a cool place! Service was absolutely wonderful, staff was kind and accommodating, even going so far as to escort elderly guests down the stairs. The room was cozy with a rustic vibe, brick walls and a neat historic feel. Clean, bathrooms with beautiful tiled floors just outside the room. And their peach sangria was a huge hit for the luncheon! Cant wait to stop back in for a visit and a glass of wine and enjoy the ambiance. Would definitely recommend this place!
Great atmosphere and cool building and grounds. The owner was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The wine and homemade tapenade were fantastic! We loved the cabernet and petit verdot, especially the 2018 smokey cabernet. We are taking some home for sure! The flights were a great value for the amount of wine and price. We sat out back on the deck and loved our time here. Definitely check this place out when you're in town!
It’s such a unique little place! We loved it and will definitely be back.
Awesome location!! Great staff!! Great wines!! The BEST choice for a great night out with friends and family!! You don’t feel like you’re drinking in a bank here!! Atmosphere is everything!! And the name says it all!!
Love this place. Great ambiance. Great wine. I enjoy myself every time I am there.
Absolute garbage of a company! Tried to fraudulently charge my credit card at 4am, on a purchase that I have never made! I have never been here and will never go there!

Great wine great time
Enjoyed the complexity and earthy tones of the Cabernet, as well as the pizza and charcuterie board. Was surprised by a band Louie’s Trio and their wonderful tunes filling the evening.
Definitely worth checking out once, I won’t be back though because it’s overly priced imo. I understand small businesses need to make money, but wine was mediocre. I love wine tastings but there are a lot of better options, significantly cheaper, with much better wine I’d go to instead in the future. The castle and history are unique but that’s not enough for me.
Went to Nashville on the Hill at Bishop Hill Winery. Awesome experience. The wine is very good and the music was great.
Great setting. Good wine
