Really love this library Iv been coming here ever since I was a kid. We still come here and have many fond memories in the coffee shop, with renovation underway I really hope that they will find a way to bring back a small coffee shop. That was one of my favorite aspects of this library.
This has been one of the most rewarding and amazing library experiences for me and my children. I'm still giving 5 stars even with the children's section closing abruptly and the closure expectancy not being provided clearly. We initially were told one week but its really a whole year. The Joliet public library is a place to be. The calmness of the place and the loving nature of staff here makes all the difference. They off tons of services that make it a point of attraction for the public. I really enjoy going there with my kids to study
