Wonderful ambiance and great selection of meats and seafood. Everything was just perfect. The lollipop lamb chop appetizer was a favorite for everyone and the scallops were just perfect. We will definitely be returning once again!

I would like to start off by saying that the ambience was very nice, and the service was great. We started with the crab cakes. Didn't care much for the flavor, and the texture was mushy. Our salads were very good, but the bread wasn't. I had the 10oz Filet. I ordered medium rare, and it came a little heavy on medium. I was offered a replacement, but I only do that if the steak was uneatable. It was ok, but not very flavorful. My double baked potato was just ok. My wife had the lamb chops, and she too said there wasn't much flavor. Her red potatoes were good though. At premium prices, we shouldn't have been underwhelmed.

Excellent food and service at Cut 158. Tomahawk ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Cathy was our waiter and see did a wonderful job. Will definitely be back. Nice to have this level service and quality this close to home. I've been to every big name steakhouse in Chicago but there is no reason to go back to any of them with Cut 158 so close to home

Our server, Kathy, was superb. Our meals were nearly perfect. The wine list was a disappointment, as some very inexpensive wines were priced 3X+ retail. Parking is challenging, but not their fault, as downtown is undergoing a major, much needed renovation.

The atmosphere was incredible. Loved the soft jazz music in the background. The food was amazing. My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary dinner. The appetizer we had was fillet nuggets with a bernaise sauce. I had a 12-oz NY strip with garlic mashed potatoes. My boyfriend had a bison filet topped with blue cheese and garlic mashed. At the end of the meal, we received a molten lava cake as a gift. We would definitely eat there again.
