I only went back to this place after my first bad food experience because the options in this area are limited. However, after my most recent visit I will never go back, unless they get a new chef. The menu recently changed and it makes this place feel cheap and trashy. Just another copy cat menu full of unimaginative suburban food that is unappealing to anyone who is looking for something other than meat and potatoes. I ordered shrimp and it came with the vegetable of the day, sugar snap peas. I chose fries as my side and thank god I did because it was the only edible food on the plate. The pea pods were way overcooked, to the point of mush, except for the ends that weren't properly cut which were sharp and inedible as well as visually unappetizing.

Very well kept and accessible spot. They offer generous portions and for affordable prices. I liked the meals very much and the staff were very friendly and chatty. Highly recommended.

This place never fails to deliver. They have good food for affordable prices, there no long wait even when the place is packed.

I celebrated my PhD last night in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that it was a great evening and the place was no doubt the reason for the strong celebration. The stuff participated in a splendid manner, the meals were very good and my guests were so cheerful. We shall surely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

First time at the restaurant and extremely disappointment. There were only 2 tables occupied on Saturday night at 7pm. At a glance, we noticed the dining room was very dirty and table clothes were disgusting. There are wood separation piece between the booths with a lamp. Dust was accumulated on the wood and filled with debris. Very disgusting. Food was subpar. I ordered the lasagna. The ends were burnt and the cheese was dried out like it was reheated multiple times. Needless to say my family will mot return to this establishment.

Seems like reviews trend well. Our experience was not as good. Gave us menus, then after we picked out food, said they were the wrong menus. Let us order the appetizer but not entrees. Service was decent, food was ok, cream of chicken rice soup was runny. Worst part was the manager berating a server publically, then talking about him to the bartender, finally rolling her eyes after he dropped a dish. Skip this place, there are more professional places to get a meal.

Our reunion group stopped in on a Friday night for a social get-together. The service was fantastic, and the drinks good. Since we arrived late after the Cubs game, we ordered dinner which was surprisingly good. Juliet's was also convenient to Harrah's. I'd come back again.

My son and I stopped here for dinner before heading to a concert at Tinley Park. From our first greeting by Drake, to our invitation by the manager to look around at the extraordinary architecture and decor, and our tasty meals...we were in awe. We enjoyed the staff friendliness and attention to our needs. This is such a historical building..actually 2 buildings, with many unique architectural details to look at. The staff and management of Juliet’s is to be commended for making our visit so very memorable. We will definitely have to come back!

First time we stopped here and it was because our first choice wasn't open. This turned out to be a delightful surprise. If you like historical charm, this place is for you. The tavern was built in the alley between two brick buildings, great ambiance. Friendly patrons described some of the highlights... picture of Miss America who hailed from Joliet, etc. Of course, food is important in a restaurant. We all enjoyed our meals,Caprese salad with grilled chicken, gnocchi in vodka sauce with sausage, spaghetti with marinara sauce and veal meatballs. Lovingly prepared and presented, with freshly grated Parmesan done tableside. Friendly service. I loved the tin ceiling and old brick walls. Guests to Joliet? Here's a nice place to enjoy good food and good company.

Excellent food. We stopped there for lunch. Waiter Drake was very knowledgeable of choices for my wife who has celiac disease. I had the open faced sausage and pepper sandwich and it was delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken with a gluten free bun. Chicken was excellent, but, as always, she should have foregone the gf bun.

Our waitress was awesome and the food and drinks came out quickly. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was cool, but food was chain quality. Was looking for a little more pizazz, and brushetta has potential but needs some work.
