Golden Dragon is quick, affordable option. Every time I call in an order there they are always polite and answer any questions I have about the entrée or item. The turnaround from when you place your order to pickup is quick, generally 15-30 mins. The food is always fresh, hot and ready to go. The entrees and soups are fine, but I wasn't real impressed with alot of the appetizers (especially the egg rolls). My favorite item is the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo platter.

Golden Dragon is our absolute go to for takeout Chinese in Joliet. Realistically it rivals any Chinese that I have had anywhere… and I have actually been to China itself! I would wager that we have never had a dish here that wasn’t the best version of the dish that we have had anywhere, and we are constantly trying new things! I mean, we love Chinese food and this is our absolute go to. They are also quick. Don’t believe the 45 minute estimate when you place an order. It will always be ready way before that! You really don’t expect to have this quality of Chinese food in a place like Joliet! And it couldn’t be more conveniently located to where we live! Realistically, this is the only Chinese location that we use anymore when we want Chinese at home! And in case it is not obvious, the only reason that I rated the atmosphere as three star is because this is purely a takeout place. There is no expectation or need for “atmosphere“ when you are just picking up something for takeout.

DO NOT ORDER HERE- BEEN VOMITING SINCE I ATE! I will be contacting the proper channels and reporting this location. Food was gross, no other way to put it. Cheap quality, chicken in fried rice didn’t even seem to be chicken. Rice was yellow/ never seen a yellow fried rice- bland, no flavor. Hot and sour soup was bland, filled with the wrong cheap mushroom and red chili- I’ve ordered from enough places to know how this soup is made. Egg roll was soggy and inedible, also bland, zero crunch. Top it off with $6 for delivery, this place is overpriced, horrible food, and cheap quality meats. Avoid it at all costs- have been puking ever since.
