What a great place. We ate here three times since we stayed at the hotel next door. Our server, Aaron, was fabulous!! His recommendations were perfect. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the waffles and chicken were delicious. The French onion soup was on the sweet side and not salty at all. The meat in the Rueben wasn't fatty. The ONLY CON was that they were out of a few beer selections that I like. So I asked for an espresso martini, but they don't serve them. (WHY? THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS!) I instead got the chocolate martini that was horrible. I TOTALLY recommend stopping here for wings and a beer or two! Perfect place for watching sports.?

Great draft options and prices. Cheese curds and fish fry was disappointing...like the fryer was too low and the batter didn't fully cook, while also pushing burnt on the outside. Friendly staff. Patio seating, tho it's a bit noisy with 80 being the outlook

Food is consistently good bar food. The service, particularly the bartenders, are all awesome. The atmosphere is confusing and disappointing if you are going with the idea of a "sports bar". Heroes West Sports Grill, with that name, I would anticipate walking in to HEAR a big game on the speakers, but instead music is blasting with a Playlist that vacillates between extremes. Tonight was the Chicago Cross Town Classic Baseball Game, which was on multiple well placed TVs, but no audio in a series that is between two Chicago rivals, not teams from other states. We have been patrons of Heroes since their inception on Jefferson Street. Good food, good people and sports. It feels like Heroes can't decide "what" type of establishment it truly is. GREAT sports bar and grills create an atmosphere that promotes engagement with other fans through the excitement of sports. Suggesting that consideration is given to sporting events which are hometown or Chicago teams or significant sporting events and support them with the sound system creating a fun and exciting atmosphere for your sports patrons.
