Friendly bartenders and really good bar food.
You would be hard-pressed to find a friendlier place. Everyone is welcome. The food is yummy. A great selection of drinks. I guess that's why I followed them from Mexico. The neighborhood is lucky to have the Irish Corner Cantina.
Dietary restrictions: I don't eat meat. The chicken quesadilla became the queso quesadilla. It was delicious! I have also had the shrimp on a previous visit. It was great too!

I personally loved everytime we’ve come here! The burgers are incredible. My boyfriend loves the chicken sandwich.
The only downfall is that the bench side the bench is so high compared to the table so it’s impossible to really sit at so you’re kind of forced to sit at the high tops

Was hungry and stopped by with the family to try out this spot. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly lady ( i believe her name was Dawn). Customer service was superb. My daughter (5 years old) said the lady is very nice and we were happy with the service.
We ordered their buffalo wings as an appetizer which had just enough kick to enjoy them. Their fries that came with were delicious. I order the buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings. Great choice! Was planning to bring as a leftover but they were so good i finished them. Wife ordered the pulled pork and it was good as well. Daughter had the tenders and macaroni with a cookie. Cookie was good, tenders were great. Mac n cheese didnt convince me byt my daughter ate it lol. Due to the great service and food, giving it 5 stars.
Kid-friendliness: I say kid friendly because our server was very nice. Did notice some bean bag chairs which might be for kids but since mine are young, i kept them at my table.

Haven't been here since Fireman Teds... they had some big shoes to fill. The staff was really nice and welcoming. The bar itself changed a bit, no more fish tank nor live music. The stage was replaced by a book shelf and bean bag chairs womp womp. The chairs were a little wack and random allover. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was good but the sandwich had NO buffalo sauce!!! The environment was good but a little dead. Different vibes allover the place. It's no Fireman Teds but it will do.

This might have been the single worst meal I’ve had in a long time. I asked the server if they pour a good Guinness she said yes! So I replied great I’ll have a pint. I was served a can and a glass. Ok keep an open mind. Tried the French onion soup which was so hot it scalded the roof of my mouth and gums. The Rueben was the worst part. The “corned beef” looked like it was fried in a pan like Canadian bacon. The sandwich was dry and virtually tasteless. The only things worse than the food were the service and the music selection.

So, this is a very newly opened establishment and it is within walking distance of my house so my husband and I came to check it out on a Wednesday evening. The "Irish pub" and "cantina" combination was an interesting idea and we were curious for weeks before they opened, exactly what the interior would be.
Upon entering, you see some notable changes. I can't tell if they was this place to be a bar/restaurant or a child daycare center. There is a section where the stage was for music acts when it was the prior owners but is now changed. There is now use books on shelves with a few games (not good bar games for adults like you see in some bars, which would be cool, but just random small games). The are also a few weird lounging chairs and some bean bags in there. There were young children running around the 'stage' and bar and how they didn't spill the drinks on the little table there having a bean bag fight, I don't know... but that's 100% NOT the vibe I want when I'm looking to relax and enjoy a meal and drink. That's a 0/5 star aspect.
They also got rid of the gambling machines they're losing out on A TON of profit with this decision. You can have children allowed in bar/ restaurants and still have gambling machines. I've seen it done flawlessly in other places, but just another reason I would not want to visit on a weekend evening looking for a fun time as an adult. I'm not a huge gambler, but occasionally it's fun to put in a twenty and see the fun/cute games.
The food really wasn't good. I was really disappointed. We both ordered burgers that were overcooked for what we requested, and even the "medium" burger that came out "medium-well" was VERY dry. Mine was very well, and I asked for "medium well." The taste would've been good if they were juicy. I suspect frozen patties being used, or something else that really made these burgers not something I'd desire to eat again. The onion rings were spectacular. That was the only good thing about the entire meal. My husband's waffle fries were undercooked. The burger buns are good. But they're too much dry bread with a burger that is too dry. Mine was supposed to have bacon on it and had maybe 1, at most, very thin piece of bacon (I got the bleu cheese burger). My husband's burger was supposed to have candied bacon on it, and he didn't detect that topping being present. He did however get tomato on the burger, which he requested to not have.
I would've loved to try a drink from the bar but had water- for two reasons: they are a new establishment that doesn't have a drink menu nor any signature cocktails, and the 2 drinks I asked for (which are common requests for any bar, especially in the Summer) they couldn't make. I asked for a mojito (they didn't have fresh mint), or José Gold tequila in a beverage (but they didn't carry that common booze...strange).
There are mismatched chairs at high top tables (not sure what vibe they're going for with that), and a mix of 'Day of The Dead' sugar skull decor mixed with shamrocks.
Do not think I will return, even for just drinks and no food. But I am hopeful they see this review and work on things in the kitchen to improve those burgers!!
In a nutshell: it's an unstocked bar/daycare center that allows kids to run all over the place and not restaurant-appropriate, with really dry, underwhelming food.

Wife and I stopped there for lunch couple of weeks ago just to try this new place. We both were very pleased. The food was awesome and our waitress was very friendly. We had so much fun talking to the young lady wish her the best of luck in law school! We will definitely be going back!!
