The first time I’ve ever been to this restaurant. It was quite honestly the best gyro I have ever had. A total unexpected gem in Joliet. I had the gyro platter 2; the portions are amazing, the meat is superbly done & very high quality, the seasoning is perfect without being overdone. And the Taziki sauce was just crazy good. I would buy it by the gallon. The staff at Johnnys was super nice and the amount of work they put into this food absolutely pays off. I will most certainly be coming here anytime I think of a gyro.

I'm new to Chicago, so I had to get an authentic Chicago style dog.They have great food, loaded with toppings, but what REALLY surprised me was how good their chili was! I wasn't expecting that! It wasn't too spicy, but it had great flavor! And oh yeah, the gyros are loaded with meat and the hotdogs are great!

A great place with great food. While yeah, it's a bit more on the pricey side of things, you can tell that the extra cost is reflective on the quality and size of the food. I had a beef last time I was there and it was the best beef I had in YEARS. Other places either skimp you on the size or of lower quality. I also manage to try their gyros as leftovers and boy, they're amazing. Next time I would 110% going to try their gyros.

Great food, friendly people, good prices & super easy online ordering. Prices & taste are better than big name fast food places by far! We enjoyed our burgers. My bf got the Big Daddy & also loved his onion rings & fried mushrooms. My fries were tasty. They have curbside pickup too if you'd like to stay in the car. Employees were friendly so overall great experience!

Went 02/18/24. Got the Big Daddy burger, fried mushrooms, onion rings (it was a cheat day, ok?), gf got a combo burger and fries with a root beer. Online order so walked in to grab it. Super friendly staff greeted me when I walked in the door. Food was awesome. Prices are great compared with the area, but especially with rising costs of fast food restaurants, making Johnnys Beef a no brainer when looking for somewhere to eat.

This is a good restaurant when they put forth the effort to treat their customers right. Ordered a burger and fries ...... the burger was awesome but they gave me fries that had been recooked. I guess they didn't want to waste the fries. Listen Johnny's nobody wants hard fries that taste like wood. Keep doing that and you be out of business quick
