the female bartender Saturday night (9-27-25) was incredibly rude when all I did was walk in and ask for a beer. I even apologized to her if I somehow came off as pushy or rude. she had a serious attitude and was incredibly disrespectful to a complete stranger. I am a bartender and definitely would not greet my customers like that. not only will my friends and I not be going back but I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to visit this establishment! in fact if you're reading this there's an Irish pub just a few blocks away called Chicago Street Pub with excellent and friendly service!

I am a bartender in a relatively large town and I would never treat or talk to a customer the way the female bartender treated me Saturday night (9-27-25). I went up after a concert at the Forge to meet a friend. Sat down at the bar and asked for a budweiser. I was in no way pushy or rude I even told her I apologize if I somehow came off that way. She immediately got an attitude with me proceeded to cuss me out and then walk away. The male bartender came over I told him what happened but he just said he didn't witness it basically backed her which I get but her behavior and attitude was uncalled for. I will be telling everyone I know, and I know alot, not to visit this establishment. In fact I was so upset by the way a complete stranger in the service industry treated me I took time to leave a review, which i never do! Hire people who know how to interact with the public because that girl definitely isn't it!
