My new favorite deep dish pizza. Ratios between crust, cheese and toppings are perfect. Pizza was ready on time, and still hot and delicious after the drive home.
I paid 68 dollars for some cheese on cardboard with few slimey rubbery chicken wings on the side. The pizza wasn't even cut.. I'd imagine prison food pizza tastes better than Lou Malnatis. This is terrible and very disappointing. Called to ask why they didn't cut the pizza and they were pretty rude.

As travelers in Joliet area we wanted to try deep dish pizza. First website said we were blocked so I have no info on this place. We find a site and it is apparently take out only. The site itself has no information and no signs in store about what is offered. There were several people there picking up takeout. Menu is on internet- which has blocked me for some reasons. After driving 8 hours my husband said he did not want to wait 35 minutes for pizza to be made and then return to hotel. Pizza may be delicious but because of their internet blockages we didn’t have a clue about making an informed choice for a sit down place for pizza. We went to Rosario’s which was a local bar and had great pizza! Since it was trivia night we were entertained! I recommend Rosario’s bar/restaurant

Horrible customer service. Don't bother with this location. We'll stick to Macianos pizza. Cheaper too.

Ordered a pizza tonight, boy was it dry and cardboard like. Granted it was a late night order and I did ask for well done, but for $46 I am very disappointed! I gave 2 stars because the cheese bread and cherry Pepsi were good.
I am originally from Chicago and traveled all over the Chicago land area and I know a good Chicago pizza. I have never tried Lou Malnati’s. Thought I would give it a shot tonight. My wife, son and I all rate this pizza literally the worse pizza we ever ate. We couldn’t finish the 3 slices we had. It was extremely wet with clear water like it’s been frozen. It tastes like it was frozen with that cardboard box taste they get when freezer burnt. The sausage had a texture like it wasn’t completely cooked. Cheese was really chewy. It’s sad because I had high hopes my family and I would have a decent pizza because almost $50 for a large pizza you think it would be top notch.. If my 14 year old who loves pizza and almost eats anything that hits the plate complains you know it’s not good.

7/13/24 - update - ordered a salad and asked for no tomatoes. Was upcharged $2 to not add an ingredient (which saves them money). Outrageous charge!
For pickup only, it works

Ordered for delivery and received two pizzas that had a puddle of water on top. I’m assuming maybe it was icy from being in the freezer and when it defrosted/cooked, the water had nowhere to go. I drained the water to try to salvage it but it tasted horrible. I’ll never eat here again but I advise people to just dine-in for a better experience than mine.

First experience at Lou’s - I understand why it’s a Chicago staple. Very good deep dish, the scent was tempting me the whole drive home. A bit on the expensive side for a medium ($32), but worth it for a first time try. Very friendly and fast service for the pickup!

We get frozen and cooked pizza from here, and it's always delicious. The thin crust is nice and crispy, and the deep dish never disappoints.
