After living in Louisiana for a few years, you know I had to try Louisiana bbq in Joliet. Illinois.
Like many places in the South, when they run out, they're out. There was no pork available and no chicken wings available (I got there at 3:30pm) so we had the brisket and turkey tips. I would try it again only to do the whole menu if I could. It was very good but there isn't any pickles or coleslaw and no muffins or cornbread which I was saddened by. It was a little bare-bones but I would give it another go.
3 stars for the atmosphere because it's really dusty and hot in there.
Kid-friendliness: More of a carry-out place with some chairs. Leave them with a tablet in the car (w/ the A/C on)

So lucky to have found this carry-out restaurant, we could smell the smokey goodness before we even arrived!! The owners are the best example of kindness and have such a passion for their craft. I am so glad that we had the pleasure of meeting you! We had the tips and link meal and Oh My Goodness!!! Everything was delicious!!! Now we just need to get there earlier next time so we can try the brisket and pulled pork!!! Thank you again!!! ?????

Best BBQ Joliet has ever had and I'm saying it! The meat so tender it's flavored to the T and the sauce is smacking. They make they BBQ just the way I like mines. Have some patience when you go cause it's worth the wait.

I’ve been getting barbecue from Louisiana’s for over 5 years. The food is amazing. Ribs aren’t tough it’s slow cooked. Momma says it’s “Memphis style Barbecue”. The sauce is perfect not spicy or sweet; it’s just on point! Best thing to do is make an order, they will not disappoint. I googled and tried them and never stop going.

Unfortunately I never tried the food because the rude guy who answered the phone. As a truck driver all I inquired about was parking and he was very rude. People like this don’t deserve my money. It’s a lot of bbq places near by and advise EVERYONE to avoid rude services like this place!

This place is one of East Joliet's hidden gems! You will NOT find a more delicious BBQ joint around this area! The rib tips are AMAZING! Fries are delish! Wish I could make Cole Slaw like theirs! Only down side is they can run out FAST so you have to call and reserve.. because when they're sold out.. that's it.. they close and you lose out! Also The owners are the SWEETEST, NICEST people! When you have amazing food and amazing owners ... well what more do you need? Ty Louisiana Barbecue!! If I could give you 100 stars I would! P.S. This is mainly a take out spot so you are not going to be walking into a restaurant atmosphere but I still gave them 5 stars because their place is clean and well maintained! ? ♥️
