4 lengua tacos, that didn't skimp on the meat, for $10?! Amazing. The salsa variety was great and the horchata is the best I've had anywhere around. Really happy I stopped on a whim.

Was there this afternoon, food was good no issues restaurant was hot ac not working. My only issue and reason for this review is, my family and I (3 of us) got done eating went to ask for 2 to go boxes and got charged $0.50 for them I have no issue paying the .50 cents but really they are charging for to go boxes? With that alone I will not be going to eat at this place again.

They run a 4 taco special for $10 it's a good price but take them 25 minutes to give you ur order even when they not busy.

Didn't got to taste any food because I plan to eat in the restaurant but it was to hot inside the air conditioner was not working so we had to leave if your taking for take out I guess is ok since you don't have to wait in the hot burning oven

Hole in the wall but food rocks. Fast food/mexican! It has small indoor eating area and outdoor eating.
They had the bacon burger and they don't serve it like what's the whole point of putting that in the menu

I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is mediocre at best. I called in asking for a burrito dinner and the girl said they didn’t offer that but I could order a burrito ($10) and a seperate order of both rice and of beans at $4 a piece. 18 dollar meal before tax.. When I questioned about it she made it clear that my business was not important and that I should call somewhere else. I called Los Comales and they have a burrito dinner for less than 12 out the door. It was delicious and very affordable. I will not visit machete again. Would not recommend especially with the plethora of better options in Joliet.
