Stayed at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet & food at the grill was terrible. Found The Old Fashioned Pancake House Restaurant on Jefferson St in Joliet the next morning and it was amazing. Service was quick, attentive and continuous. Food (breakfast) was simply outstanding and price was very good! I have traveled a lot and this place is a Five Star value in my book.

Great breakfast and great service. We added some extras like blueberries to my blueberry pancakes & fancy stuffed French toast to my husband's combo. No worries and didn't appear to be an upcharge! My blueberry pancakes had BLUEBERRIES in the batter. A lot of places nowadays just want to make plain pancakes and ladle stuff on top.

We have family in Joliet and will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Food is fantastic. Large menu selections. Any time for breakfast and lunch. Closes early. Get there before 2 pm. If you want to talk, go during off hours. This place can be crowded and noisy.
