Portillo's Joliet Reviews
This was the second time there first-time was given someone else's order they were not happy when I had to go back and get my order but gave it to someone else after showing the receipt and they said ok that's it after a a while they gave me my money back the second time a month later I ordered two beef and there was very little beef will not get a 3rd out of our family. The one in bolingbrook is much better
Ordered 2 big beefs add cheddar cheese one hot one no peppers, 2 gravy on the side to bring home and eat(60 miles away). Also got 2 cheese fries to eat on drive back fries were good. Beefs were screwed up both had no gravy, both had hot peppers, other person eating can’t eat spicy/hot foods so they were out of luck, cheese looked like it was an afterthought, just very disappointed to have spent $32 and having to wait almost 25 minutes for food that wasn’t prepared properly.

I ordered a jumbo cheese dog with tomato and pickle only and a large fry. I...read full review

Portillo's in Joliet, IL, offers a unique experience with drive-thru and online pickup options only, lacking indoor seating. While some miss the old dine-in option, others find the prices reasonable for quality food. The restaurant mainly operates as a takeout spot, with no in-store dining, and has recently faced mixed reviews about the food quality and ordering process. Some customers experienced delays or issues with their orders, such as taking a long time to get beef or receiving food that wasn't as hot as expected. Others noted that portion sizes from the app seem smaller and that certain items, like the beef sandwich, can be dry and less flavorful. Despite these challenges, the quick service makes it a convenient late-night snack option. Opinions are divided on whether these changes improve or worsen the Portillo's experience in Joliet.
