The lady “Country” taking the order was a very nice lady. I ordered 3 gyro plates the meat was obviously put on the grill it was hard and burnt. I am not sure why it was put on the grill at all.

"Country" is such a sweetie, and her recommendation for the rueben was on point (why mustard the standard tho, thousand island please!). And for the price u more then get ur moneys worth if u get the meal with fries. Imma a fan i need a good sammich i know this place has me covered.

I seen a remark that was made about a young lady with big eyelashes. And all I have to say is the young lady keeps the place clean and is always there to take orders might have seen her phone in her hand but she was there to take orders I've been in and out of there several times she's always been very polite.

I really hate giving one star. Craved a sub and decided on this place. It was SO cold in there and LOUD. They had music videos playing so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. The girl at the register was too busy on her phone to Greet me or take my order and when she finally did...she had zero knowledge on what comes on the sandwiches. Thank God you get cans cuz I would be afraid of her eyelashes falling into a fountain drink. The sub I ordered was really big. Was very hard to eat. The fries were soggy. Very dirty in there also. I will never go back

Subdock by far has the best gyros in the city, perhaps in all Chicagoland. However, their fries have gone from bad to worse. They used to be undercooked crinkle-cut, they are now skin-on (generally our favorite) skinny fries drenched in so much oil that you could cook in them! Get the gyros, skip the fries, which may be the worst ever fries in the world!

Don't even deserve a 1.Grew up eating here and never disappoint but new owners fresh garbage. Thought the gyro sauce was mayo and the meat must be a new formula garbage. In place of a refund I feel like throwing it at there window as a warning to stay away... And the fries horrible.. How do you mess up a gyro,in heard of!!!!?

First time going to this spot cause I usually go to babas next door, I paid 12$ for a Italian beef and sausage, they proceeded to tell me they had no sausage after I paid and then said they couldn’t substitute it for anything else so I paid 12 for a little half sized Italian beef that tasted mid, with more peppers than actual meat. First and Last time I come in here. Girl at the register didn’t have any manners and stayed silent the whole interaction. Disappointed, feel like I was finessed. Couldn’t have got better service and food anywhere else. Wouldn’t recommend. Try Babas next door instead!!!
