Terrible service. Ordered the buy one get one free from Uber for 2 taco dinner....they deliver one. Then I called there and was spoken to rudely and put on hold and hung up. When I called back repeatedly they put me to Voicemail which was full. Unacceptable business practices. Shady East side Joliet BS. I contacted Uber and made a formal complaint and told them they don't need a business like this on Uber Eats. Pass this restaurant up. The one meal we got was horrible to add to the situation. Horrible service.

I went inside and got my food, there were a couple customers eating, and the place looked pretty clean… the guy working at the counter was nice when I got my food. I got a 2 for 1 chicken taco dinner, and most of my food was fine, but one of the limes was dried out, and then at the end of me eating my second taco, I bit into a little piece of red plastic, I thought it was lettuce, or a piece of tomato at first l, but it wasn’t. I called them and let them know, they apologized and offered me a refund or a replacement. That’s good customer service and the way it’s supposed to be.

Terrible customer service. I ordered through Uber Eats and got the buy one get one free 2 taco dinner as advertised on Uber for me and my guest. Got one taco dinner. Called the store and was spoken rudely by a woman who could hardly speak English. Then put on hold and hung up on after 15 minutes. Called back repeatedly for over an hour and was sent to Voicemail which was full. They knew my number and kept rejecting the call. How can you send calls to Voicemail for an hour when you're open for phone orders? Nope 👎 Terrible customer service. How can you advertise a special then not deliver? Then blow off that customer. Unacceptable. Me and my guest shared a two taco dinner. I've got a case filed with Uber for fraud.

No public restrooms. Our food was good, but the service was slow. Chips and salsa were not served pre meal, which would have helped with the wait. Id recommend ordering ahead and picking up if you have that option.

I ordered through uber eats, first time trying this taco place and OMG! The tacos are so good! I never liked tacos de chorizo before, but theirs are so damn good! I definitely have to go in person.
OMG I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD YOU WILL EVER EAT! why is it so hard to have good mexican food this place is open late so i guess the comp isnt high but dang a big mac is leas dry then these tacos its like eating leather i dont ever and will never recommend eating here just save your money go to sleep and get some real food

I’m from California and asada fries are popular over there, i could never find them like how it is in California but I found el tio and it’s the closest thing to home so far. It’s not on the menu you have ask for the nachos with meat but ask if you have fries instead of chips. (sometimes they run out or don’t have fries) I work night shift so i come in between 2-3x a week around 5am , there tacos are also good but expensive except on Tuesday for the pastor special deal

I was surprised to find that the carne asada used for the burrito is completely different from the one used for the torta. The burrito meat was excessively oily and had a low-quality texture, it can even be compared do dog food. while the torta had what seemed like real, well-prepared carne asada. Just a heads-up for anyone ordering—expect a noticeable difference in meat quality depending on what you get. Never get the burritos from this place never never never. Really missed when they started servicing real meat really disappointed.
