A great choice for a romantic dinner, complete with candlelight and excellent, yet unobtrusive service. I had the crab cake appetizer and fried lobster tail for my entree, both were delicious. They have specials that are out of the ordinary and worth trying. A true gem, but be prepared to wait on the weekends, and the small bar may not have a seat to let you do so comfortably.

I loved the place, but l it looks like it is out of business now. I drove by today and there is a for sale/rent sign in the window. Very sad loss of a local gem.

The place is very small and sometimes has a long wait. Making reservations makes that a mute point though. Once you get seated, your in for a great meal with great service. We try to limit our visits to once a month, but find ourselves going more often now that Syl's has really gone downhill due to new owners. We normally get the filet, which is always cooked as ordered. Very juicy and seasoned just the right amount. Truth is definitely not for everyone, but I strongly recommend that everyone try it at least once. You might just discover a new favorite dining spot.

I used to really love Truth, however, my last visit is cause for this poor review. (We went to Truth for my birthday and told them this when we made our reservation). As soon as we sat down during our last visit, my fiancé said "I bet you the owner isn't here tonight ," based on how long it took us to be seated WITH a reservation, and a nearly empty restaurant. He was right. When we placed our order, our server, who has served us multiple times, and recognizes us now, let us know that his order of a 10 oz fillet, couldn't be completed because they were out of the 10 oz fillet. He asked if they could do two 6 oz fillets, as they had done last time they ran out. At this point she told us the owner wasn't in and she would have to ask the chef. Went and spoke to the chef, and he said no, they couldn't do that even though we had the same issue last time we went, and that was how they resolved it. We weren't happy, but he went ahead and ordered the two, paying full price for two meals, in order to get more than 6 oz of meat. The next day, I attempted to call the owner to voice my displeasure, she wasn't in. I was told to call back at a specific time another day. I did this. Again, owner was not in, I was told she would "definitely be in tomorrow night, call after 4." I called at 4. I was told she was working the grill and couldn't take my call. This time I asked to leave a message. Left a message, and was told she would call me back the next day. It has now been 2 1/2 weeks, and nobody has reached out to me. Next time we have a celebration, we will rethink going to Truth.

Looking at this place it isn’t EXPECTED to be the NICEST restaurant... H O W E V E R!!! It was absolutely mind blowing!! Beautifully decorated inside, and their food is perfectly portioned and cooked. I got the pot roast and I was definitely shocked. By far one of the best restaurants I have been to!!

The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was very flavorful. Our table had the blackened whitefish, lobster mac n cheese, and shrimp pesto..I tried some of all and everything was great. I reccomend reserving a table, which we did.
