I just love this place! I can remember coming here with my grandparents when I was a little kid. The place is still the same. Good food. Great staff. We always see someone we know. I could drink the bbq sauce. I put it on every bite of bbq and dip my fries in it. My husband loves the fish sandwich. This is the last of the historic mom and pop places in Union county.
We were in the area and this place was packed so we decided to stop by for lunch. This is a no frills place with great food and friendly service. We each got the large bbq basket and the pork is sliced and there is a great sauce you can put on the meat. The sauce is light, slightly sweet, and tangy. We got the fries which were fresh and crunchy and the onion rings tasted homemade. We also got a large bowl of chili and the portion was huge and it hit the spot.
I’ve been going here for over fifty years. The place has changed owners a few times I think. The service and food is fantastic. One of the best bbq places to go. The sauce is unique and unmatched by anyone. The people there are friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
