Wood’s Corner in Illinois farm country is a great stop for breakfast, offering hot meals for $10 or less. Known for its kind staff and decent food, home fries are a highlight. They serve excellent cheese sticks and provide excellent service. Located on the corner of 1st Street, it’s a nice place to visit before exploring the Garden of the Gods.
