My fiance and I decided to try this place,after seeing it was reviewed as #1 BEST mexican restaurant around our location. I was blown away by this place! My favorite was El Mexicano, until eating at Dos Amigos. Dos Amigos is truly authentic;from the atmosphere, to the food,this is truly a remarkable establishment! By far the most incredible mexican food I have had in years! I will be back to eat here within a few weeks! For anyone wanting flavorful food,ypu should eat here! The meat is so tender and packed with flavor! (Spice is added through sauces that YOU can choose to add if you'd like. For those who feel mexican food is spicy) Definitely #1 on my list!

Although we order from here several times a year and normally never have any issues. This time the chicken seemed like it was days old or maybe canned. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food for the first time ever. If you changed your meat, please go back.

I had a great time. So, on the way there I felt like I was going the wrong way because gps took me through a residential area but I was right on track. Lol. I feel like it's more of a mom and pop type of place. The food was really good. They even had sandwiches which I thought was pretty cool. I got a ground beef burrito with a cola. The food didn't take long to make and when it was ready the lady brought it to me which I wasn't expecting. She also came and checked on me 2 or 3 times. I might have to go again before I leave the area.

The food was great, very tasty. The young lady behind the counter was very patient with us as we ordered, and kind throughout our visit. The restaurant is located in Kankakee, so Dos Amigos does the best they can with their location. But the food is so good, it's worth it to visit!!
