Cerno's Bar & Grill offers a good dining experience with friendly staff and a great beer selection. The building has a rich history, featuring a beautiful old bar imported from Belgium and made out of mahogany, which was built for the World Fair in Chicago in 1893 and later moved to Kewanee in 1898. Many customers appreciate the quick service for both drinks and food, which are served hot and fresh. Popular menu items include the Reuben sandwich, chicken strips, and fried tenderloin, all noted for their delicious taste. The restaurant also offers a small supreme pizza called the "whole hog," which many find flavorful. Visitors enjoy comfort foods like tater tots and crispy fries. The lively atmosphere and attentive service, with staff providing prompt refills and to-go boxes, make it a favorite spot. Parking is convenient, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Guests often comment on the friendly environment, great food, and the chance to see the historic bar, making Cerno's a notable place in the area.
