Great taqueria with many options. Both the fish and the steak tacos were excellent. The margarita was great too. I think their Michelada recipe is not like what you’d expect in Mexico — it tasted more like bloody mary mix than michelada. Nonetheless, this place is wonderful to have in the suburbs and I recommend it.

A Margarita in a short rocks glass for $14 is very overpriced. Too small portions for food.

Food was a 7/10. The prices were downtown Chicago prices. $15 for a burrito bowl that was about half the size of Chipotle. And $5 for a standard size taco is absurd. Loses a star for price alone. The food was good but again for the price you start to compare it to other places that are cheaper and equal in quality or better.

Absolutely love this place! Everytime we go the food is delicious and the service is great!! Make sure you always check the specials, but the tacos are always my favorite!! And the margaritas are always a hit!!Dietary restrictions: They are happy to cater to my dairy and gluten allergies!

Had takeout. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Will check out again and dine in. Good food!
Food was just OK. We had a few tacos, a torta, rice and beans. $6 per taco? $9 for 1/3 cup guacamole and chips? And honestly $5 for chips and salsa? Any other sit down Mexican restaurant throws in chips and salsa for free when you dine in. There’s better Mexican food for a better price in the area- Sergios, Raul’s, tacos el Norte to name a few.

Disappointing food, our non-English-speaking server made ordering very challenging, painfully slow service. My horchata tasted like plain milk. Charging extra for meat on Don Nachos was no bueno. Also no bueno is charging for chips and salsa. This restaurant used to be better a couple of years ago, but my last three visits, spaced months apart, have been consistently unsatisfactory. After this experience, I'm considering cooking at home more often and saving my money. I don't want to come back again and be disappointed AGAIN. Adios Taco Guanajuato

Absolutely the best taco spot in the Chicago Area. Try the Bacon & Chorizo. Fernanda was an absolute sweetheart. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in town.Best Tacos West of Akron Ohio and East of the Mississippi
