We were there on the scenic drive and chose seats outside. We asked 2 different servers for menus which we got 30 min after we sat. Our drinks took another 15+ min to arrive then it seems our server took her own lunch break or something because we didn't see her again until we were trying to leave. The bartender brought us our food which was cold and tasted so bad we couldn't finish it. We asked for a manager but apparently she left to pick up her kid. The server then gave half our table a discount and expected the other half to pay full price. I spent $20 on a drink and meal and threw half of it in the garbage. We were there for 2 hours because the service was so bad when we had hoped to be in and out. We came last year too and the food and service was so much better. After this, we won't be back.

This used to be a good place to eat but it has declined since COVID. Went back there today for lunch. Ordered a hamburger and fries. The fries were air fryer fries. Yuck. I could if had those at home. This was a $20 meal. It was bad. Slow service as well. It took 45 minutes to order and get food. The meat in the nachos was burnt and it was small portion. That was also $20. Will not be going back.

Waited 1+ hour for our food order! People that were seated after us received their order before ours. We asked for take out due to time constraints.

We will not go here again. We ordered a couple of appetizers and they came in a reasonable amount of time, however we waited over an hour and finally took our meals to go.

I ordered the catfish dinner with green beans with onion and bacon and baked beans. My sister ordered pulled pork, green beans and cheesey potatoes. The fish was mushy couldn't figure out if it was not cooked all the way but was had consistency of mashed potatoes. Green beans were canned with chicken broth didn't see no bacon nor onions. Baked beans were literally canned pork and beans canned kidney beans and Lima beans. No flavor at all. Pulled pork tasted like artificial smoked flavor with water soaked pork. Even soaked down with there( watered down sweet baby rays) bbq sauce still was terrible. Honestly tasted like they just tried to nuke the old food. Canceled the cobbler because was told she just put it in to warm up. Nope don't even want to try it. It was very disappointing because I looked forward to eating Bbq and fish my favorites. If I could give it a negative number I would! I a good note the waitress was nice.

New favorite tenderloin of all time! Thick, juicy (not sure I have ever described a tenderloin as juicy), and delicious! The coleslaw was super yummy, too. My favorite part was one of the servers played a 3 ball round of pool with a kid and they were having a blast. He was super patient with the child. Then promised the kid another round if it was ok with mom and dad and if they finished their plate. When the server would check on the family he would ask the kid if he had finished yet. The child finished their meal and was ready to play. As a mom I would have loved if someone had one took the time to be so kind and two helped to make sure no food (money) was wasted. Definitely going back!

We had a group of 6 adults and one toddler for dinner and everything was delicious! We had a variety of dishes; 1/2 Rack of Ribs, the Bourbon and Bacon Burger, Meat Trio, Sliders and also a few appetizers. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything they had and the portions were huge! The real highlight of our visit was our waiter, Jakob. He was delightful! Very personable and he even went above and beyond to find the four year old we were with a bag of chips! Would come back just for Jakob even if the food hadn’t been as good as it was! Thank you Big Katz BBQ! Love, “Bean Girl”

The waitress would carry your drinks to the table pressed up against her body 45 minutes for two simple brisket sandwiches the soda pop tasted like the lines were dirty and when we finally got our food everything came out dry and cold
Love the atmosphere, very cool place! TV’s everywhere with several different games on, my kinda place!! Service was pretty good, our server was friendly and all but I think she just had too much going on to keep track of her tables. But that’s not always the server’s fault. So I still give her a 4/5, she was great while at our table. The place is clean and I loved the decor! Then we get to the food. Not a good experience at all. They have a special today, that my friend and I both had, a plate with pork burnt ends, beef burnt ends and “beef tips” with 2 sides for $22. Very good price for all the food we got, IF the food was good. It.was.not. When I think of burnt ends I think of tender chunks of meat (most have burnt fat too) with a delicious dry rub that’s “burnt” on as if to make a crust on the outside. First off the meat was anything but tender, so dry it was hard to chew. And it was DEFINITELY burnt, more so than what I’m used to. I went in expecting a delicious chunk of meat, omg the dry rub was absolutely disgusting!! TBH it tasted like it was pure chili powder. I tasted nothing else. I tried each type of meat and it all had that same flavor, not good. The “beef tips” were anything but that. They were strips of dry, hard crust of what I’m not sure, I couldn’t tell. Inedible imo. I brought the meat home just to take pics, then it went straight to the garbage. I have 4 very large dogs, that would have loved typical BBQ, I didn’t even share with them as I was afraid that chili powder would make them sick. Then we get to the sides. I ordered cheesy potatoes and green beans/bacon. Again, something I typically order when getting BBQ. Portions are small…but that ended up being just fine. I guess the potatoes were cheesy, it had no flavor so I’m not sure if there was any cheese or not. Just blah. Green beans with bacon, again no flavor. Tasted like they dumped out a can of beans into a pot and added some onion and pieces of bacon. When I’ve had this at other places there is little to no water/juice and you can tell the bacon and beans were cooked together with maybe some butter. Not these. The only thing I tasted was a canned green bean dish with some onion and bacon thrown in for looks. But hey, the water was icy and cold just like I like it!! I so wanted to like the food, it is a really neat and inviting place. Just like a pub/sports bar should be. I usually give restaurants a second chance but this one is a hard pass. I truly hope they just had an off day, there was a large event in the other room that maybe they put all the effort into instead of other customers. Let’s hope. Good luck to you all, I hope you have a better experience than we had.
