Went through drive thru got pulled for French fries. Took 15 mins to get my food from when I paid. The fries were not even fresh when we got them. So ridiculous.

Inaccurate orders. A chicken sandwich gave me food poisoning. Great place to get a diet coke when you want a regular one. Staff always seems overwhelmed even during slow periods. Cooks not wearing gloves when making rte food. I mean I get it. It's a McDonald's. But getting sick like I did from McDonald's is kind of an anomaly.

One of the managers there is very childish, and when told about my ketchup allergy, she made sure ketchup was put on the burger, which could've resulted in me ending up in the hospital if it hadn't been checked. And when confronted, she said 'Not my problem.' So, would it still not be your problem still if you, or your establishment, had been sued? Or better yet if you were fired. She obviously doesn't want to listen or take orders, so why does she work at a place where you TAKE and SERVE orders? If she really didn't want to do her job, why not just work at Dollar General, which is about a block away, or some place similar? She wouldn't even have to take orders or actually listen to people there. 🙄 Never going there again. The Galesburg one is better and worth the longer drive.

I almost never order fast food, but a sausage egg McMuffin sounded like a good idea at 9 AM on a Tuesday. Ordered one sandwich, and had to wait 15 minutes for it. There were literally no cars behind me after the first five minutes. Ridiculous.
We ordered 2 large fries, 2 burgers and nuggets and sauce. First they gave us the complete wrong order and tooo it back through the window. Then we got pulled and waited for the wrong order yet again, we got the food we ordered but 2 medium fries instead of 2 larger and still no sauce my boyfriend went inside and the woman had an attitude, he told her we had 2 large fries and there was still no sauce and she just gave him 1 large fry and walked away. Honestly this location has just went so downhill recently and it’s disappointing as someone who doesn’t come to McDonald’s often but when I do my order always seems to be wrong.

I purchased a Filet-O-Fish from this Knoxville, Illinois McDonald's location (Store #13414) at 2:11 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 while on a road-trip to NE Iowa with family members. I was served before I could put my credit card back in my wallet after placing my order, very quickly with no wait whatsoever. I hadn't had a McD's Filet-O-Fish in a long time and wanted something other than a burger. BIG MISTAKE!!! The sandwich tasted a bit "off" as it likely had sat beneath a heat lamp for quite some time after the routine lunch crowd passed through. Due to the quick service, it was obvious it was not freshly made. By 4:20 the next morning, I had developed severe cramps and explosive diarrhea along with chills and sweats. I had contracted a case of severe food poisoning. No other family members were affected. I know without a doubt I was served bad food at this McDonald's. I was in bed or on the toilet for 3 whole days and missed out on all of the activities that were planned for this trip. Over a week later, some symptoms persist. Thankfully, the worst is over. I will never order a Filet-O-Fish again. Too bad the management at this location in particular doesn't properly train their staff to follow safe food guidelines so customers like me don't get sick. Take heed: Don't order a Filet-O-Fish from this or perhaps any McDonald's as you risk the same illness as I did.

Just came from this one in Knoxville, waited 20 minutes for my food with one car ahead of me get the food the fries are so salty. I can’t even eat them and my cheeseburger is cold and it was supposed to have only ketchup and it has pickles on it too very disappointed.
