New Hong Kong Restaurant

While a few years ago New Hong Kong Restaurant would be the go to restaurant when you were not sure what you wanted to eat. Those days seem to be long gone. The last few times I have visited chili's I should have canceled my order and left. When you have to send a part of your meal back to the kitchen every time you visit, it's time to stop visiting. the last visit I had to send two things from my order back to the kitchen. I have a feeling the cooks they hire just have to say they can cook and it's on they're hired. I can tell they do not care what they send to the table. With that in mind I don't care when I have to send it back. Like another reviewer said, Modesto have way to many restaurants to choose from. Go to chili's if you want to risk having to send your food back, or eating tasteless, not up to par food. New Hong Kong Restaurant get a grip why don't you. I would not recommend New Hong Kong Restaurant.

Have been here a few times. Food is ok but the service is usually quick. They had a new person at the front desk - she didn’t know what the menu was, said extra sauce for $0.60 extra (had never paid for it before). I was ok with all this but not her tone and the way she talked. Super rude and arrogant. Talked to her owner in front of me and then started shouting in a foreign language. Don’t care about the food but if you don’t treat customers right, you lose business!

I dine in this great restaurant a lot! This is my favorite place to have a bite. I visit this place at least once a month. The cooking is of high quality, the crew is courteous and the cost is reasonable. I like being in this spot for a rich meal.

Fresh Chinese and Thai food at reasonable prices. The Penang dish is incredible.

The food is pretty good but a bit on the pricey side but my order was pretty messed up I had ordered online and made sure to mention in two different parts of the order i wanted spicy and and check out notes I mentioned to call me when ready and also dont forget to make spicy the spring roll was good but I was hoping for an egg roll I might give em another shot in the future to redeem themselves but this experience definitely worth no more then 3 stars.
