First visit to Posto 31. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was excellent, food and cocktails were delicious. Only somewhat concerning thing I can report is that the restaurant quickly became very loud and was very crowded.
I'd like to share how helpful the waitstaff was on the night we dined at Posto 31. Our waiter did a wonderful job of offering various menu options during restaurant week, without pushing us towards any of them. The waiter also helped us decide between options by asking a few simple questions. The dishes were delicious, and we will definitely be returning soon.
This is the place we've been looking for! We went there tonight because of restaurant week. We were excited to try a new spot but we didnt expect to find our new favorite restaurant!
The service was incredible. All the staff members were attentive and friendly, without being overbearing, especially our server Jimmy. The manager, Kathleen stopped by to introduce herself, welcome us, and to just check in a few times throughout our meal.
The ambiance was immaculate. A restaurant full of lively guests and friendly conversations with a cozy, neighborhood feel. The music was upbeat but chill, think Dancin in the Moonlight and Marvin Gaye vibes.
The bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. The bar area is open and inviting and is situated nicely from the dining area.
Now for the food... oh my god! We had the arancini and pork belly for appetizers. Arancini were perfectly crunchy and savory. The pork belly melted in your mouth with exciting but familiar flavors. For entrees we had the rigatoni and chicken limone. Both were outstanding and tasted like your grandma made them from scratch. We ended the meal with the tiramisu which was the best we've ever had and big enough to share with all your friends. The cookie skillet was piled high and accented with pretzels and caramel sauce. And the prices are really reasonable.
Thank you to everyone at Posto 31, you are all Rockstars!! We can't wait to come back again and again to try everything on the menu!!

Since moving back to the Chicagoland area, Posto 31 has become our regular date night, special occasion, and last-minute dinner option; you name the reason, and Posto 31 is our go-to. The service is always fantastic, and the menu is exceptional. I could write a novel about Posto 31, but it serves it best to keep it short: great execution, food and drinks, and extremely good service. I recommend Posto 31 to everyone I can and always will!

The squid ink pasta was one of the best dishes I have ever had. The dish can lean towards over salty and this had none of that.
Posto 31 restaurant week menu was incredible! The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We always enjoy our family dinners here! Thank you for the changing menus and for the long-standing favorites!!
First night of Restaurant Week.... FYI to get the restaurant week deal everyone has to opt in. What's included is a choice of appetizer, main course and dessert (from the special restaurant week menu). Portions are very generous. Food did not disappoint. Service could have been a little more attentive (just checked in one more time or too if needed refill on water)— but it was very busy. Complimentary hot chocolate upon being seated was a very nice touch on the coldest day/night of the year.
We had the Chicago Restaurant Week prefixe meal for $45 each. It was very good. Ricotta toast appetizer tasted fine but kind of bland. Pork belly appetizer was flavorful, but fatty. Limone airline chicken was wonderful & a huge portion! Husband's shrimp with squid ink linguine was delicious & also a big portion. Tiramisu was very big & delicious! Chocolate chip cookie was fine, but not great. Gelato tasted wonderful, though. We took home leftovers of everything except the appetizers. I recommend ordering the prefixe menu - great value for money!
We came for dinner during Restaurant Week and dined using the Restaurant Week menu. The meal was good and the service was also very good. We came on a night the was extremely cold and when we came in the restaurant offered a complimentary hot chocolate. It was a very nice touch.
From the moment you walk in until you leave the service is great. Friendly team with a smile. We had a 8pm reservation on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Great specials. Tasty food and drinks. It was my first visit and I will be back. I highly recommend this place. My only criticism is that they have this odd message about asking for no modifications unless allergy related. To be honest, I almost didn’t come because of that message when I was looking at the menu. It just came across as pretentious. But in the end I’m very happy I went and had a wonderful meal and evening.

Consistently excellent food and service. Although the hard surfaces lend themselves to a very noisy environment, the people are always friendly and staff is outstanding.
The food and service were amazing! Tori, our server was honest and gave us great feedback when asked! Can't wait to go back!
Food was outstanding. The four main courses brought to the table were probably the finest looking entrees I ever seen presented. Everyone enjoyed their dinner.
Great meal as always. Love the food and service every time. Changed it up and had the burger this time and it was fantastic!
Great food and drinks, awesome service, overall a great place for a date night.
