Excellent food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. Cozy neighborhood place that we enjoy fairly regularly and would recommend. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions.
This is a kind of quaint, little place with good Italian food. My husband, daughter and I went there for lunch, on a Sunday, right when it opened at 1 PM. Though it's in LaGrange, it's a little off of the bougie path, on the North side of the tracks. It was quiet whe we were there, but the food was really good. Everything was fresh, and made there. I had the Chicken Marsala, which actually has a creamy, garlic sauce with mushrooms as opposed to the usual clear...
Is this a 5 star restaurant? No. Is it a neighborhood staple worth a try? Absolutely. My godmother suggested this place to us and we meeting up about 2-3 times/year to eat pizza and watch my toddler watch the trains go by.
If you come with kids, request a window seat. Leave the stroller in the car. This place is too small to have strollers. They do have wooden high chairs.
