I love that they have conchas both with or without canela in the bread. With canela are my favorite! The tamales (red pork) used to be my favorite in town but not sure if something subtle changed or I ate them so much that I think that they went to great to good now. Either way, they are still worth a try, if you haven't yet.

I am happy with the tenders and personnel but the food quite the two items that I like the most is milanesa breaded stake which I keep telling to cook a little more when ask as I always respectfully ask I put a picture you judge on your own and as a little tip the tamales are supper greasy which I would like to compare with the place down the street I am super happy with the personal just the two items I hope they don’t get offended just doing hear as a reminder thanks 🙏🏽

The tamales here are the best so far, the price is similar to the area, the 3-milk cake is delicious, not too sweet, plus: they accept card payments.

Great little bakery! The staff is really nice and they accept different kinds of payments.
Overpriced mediocre pastries. Definitely better bakeries in the Cicero area
They have the best green tamales ♡
Tamales are the best hands down!!

I've been lately purchasing tamales from this place and each time I ask for the Chicken Verde tamales, they totally give me something else. For example, this last purchase, I asked for a dozen of Chicken Salsa Verde tamales and I got 4 different ones, even though I saw her take it out of the same pot. I got rojo, Verde, cheese/jalapeno and one with some kind of a leaf. What if someone has an allergy to something and they get their order mixed up. I like to know what I am eating. Their tamales are one of the best in the area but the mix-up is frustrating and not worth my trip.

We bought a Rosca. They make them fresh here with fresh ingredients. Come support local small businesses. Price reflects on medium Rosca $35. The one in picture is a small one.

Always a pleasant experience. I recommend the sandwiches and tamales and baked goods. I frequent the Melrose Park location but I was near the Cermak location and that location is just as good.

Was very disappointed in my cakes recently, I had a cake made for my nephew and was told multiple times they could make it the way I wanted. Went to pick up and was told they couldn't do it because of "copyright." If that was the case, they should have told me when I was ordering. Payed a lot of money for a plain un decorated cake. They had the nerve to tell me, just buy a toy and put it on. I gave them a 2nd chance with my niece's cake, and the same thing happened at the last minute. I was just mad at that point and took my plain cake with me. They used to be able to decorate cakes however you wanted as long as you gave them a week notice but not anymore. So make sure they can decorate as you like before you buy.
